I love it when people use "shrimp" to mean "beyond the human range". like "shrimp colors" but applied to other things. "shrimp emotions" "shrimp sounds" "shrimp morality", as if shrimp are living some kind of transcendent existence that humans can never comprehend

Its not even true that they see more colors than us, their brains are just worse at registering the light spectrum with less sensors so they have a lot more sensors than we do, so if a human looks at yellow our red and green sensors go off and our brain sees yellow but the shrimp needs a whole new sensor to see yellow etc.
