seeing young trans men saying how they feel so “validated” by people telling them to kill themselves because “at least they see me as a man” is actually so fucking sad. 15 year old trans boy you do not deserve to be treated like a monster because of the words you use for yourself and the goals you have for your body. you do not need to accept this kind of treatment from your own community in order to prove that you’re not a threat. you are a person. you are a person
we're all obsessed with material conditions until a trans guy exists and then what really matters is his male soul and the body it might hypothetically have in any number of situations that are not reality and have no bearing on it. "if trans men were cis they'd be cis men" "if trans men were cis they'd be cis women" it literally does not matter because we're not fucking cis
"You only care about trans men! You never reblog transfeminism!"
I mean I do, but also every time I go in the transfeminism tag, there's endless posts starting with
Tagged as
It's really hard sometimes, and I honestly can't imagine that this is all that fun for transfems/women either. Sifting through all this hate, who is it helping? It's just not productive. And it's exhausting, so I stop.
It's not transfeminism to shit on transmascs/men, who convinced you of it? It only discourages people from even trying to look through the tags.
Anyway block don't harass.
This was funny as hell to me

you'll shit brix.
Okay yall, real talk, TME is just straight up a slur for transmasc and nonbinary people.
Like sure, technically in theory it also applies to cis people; but let's be real, no cis person will know what the hell you're talking about, and practically it's only used to degrade and demean other trans people.
It's also just a straight up lie; ALL trans people are affected by transmisogyny, there is no such thing as an exemption, the whole premise is just blatantly offensive.
Transmasc peeps and nonbinary peeps, yall don't need to just fall in line with this bullshit, and I hope to god you don't. We've got your back, this TMA/TME shit needs to end. Love yall, don't forget that; I'm proud to have you in our community, and I'd have it no other way <3
"Trans men will never understand what it's like to have thousands of nazis attack you" Girl has no interest in the oppression of anyone but people like herself like
You look up Elliot Page and it's like the second thing that pops up
My hot take is that if you're not transmasculine you should really carefully consider your use of the term "tboy". If you're talking about a specific person you should make sure they are alright with being called that. If you're talking about transmasc people in general it might be better to just not use it. It's good in general to be cognisant of the terms you are using to describe transgender men and the stereotypes those terms might be perpetuating. The infantilisation of transmaculine people has real and serious effects on the way we are treated and our ability to access gender affirming care. Not to say that anyone using the term is some awful transphobe or that folks shouldn't identify with the term if it feels affirming to them, I just think it's just generally a good idea to consider the words we use when talking about trans people.
I feel like some people on tumblr genuinely cannot fathom the idea of relating to transmascs/admitting transmascs were right about something.
Every time I come on here, I'll see another 'transfeminist' with hundreds or thousands of notes, talking about a phenomenon that is supposedly unique to 'tma' people, and then I'll squint at it and its literally something transmascs have also been talking about on this site for over a year*.
The entire concept of malgendering (only being gendered one way when it can be used against you)
Invisibility messing with statistics
Being in cis men's spaces often being more dangerous than cis women's spaces as a visibly trans person
Permanent health issues because of gendered expectations growing up even if thats not the gender you identify with
*Im not necessarily saying transmascs talked about it first because no one knows who 'did it first' and thats a dumb way to think about it. I mean stuff trfs have been making fun of transmascs for talking about but suddenly understanding when the same logic is applied to transfem issues.

if you told someone : "trans women are more likely to be seen as predatory and have to be careful in many interactions because their actions are likely to be seen in negative light"
and they removed the trans part and went: "no, women don't have to worry about being seen as predatory when interacting with people, either you are lying about that or you are not really a woman"
you would rightfully be pissed off
SO STOP REMOVING TRANS FROM TRANS MEN WHEN DISCUSSING ISSUES TRANS MEN FACE
(aside to Kit) Is Surge just drinking in these puns? Or do they wash over her like a gentle tide?

Now that I think about it, the whole fandom of this blue hedgehog really varies depending on the social media platform you use.. like, ik my experience isnt the only one that exists but just listen:
I've noticed that Tumblr is the only platform where there's barely any bigotry when it comes to media like ships or headcanons and stuff, and its more common to find that in tiktok or twitter which is.. not surprising imo. You'd also see really questionable views in Sonic discord servers but i think thats a separate thing but holy shit is it common.
I'm very much aware those types of people are a minority but ig its just really unfortunate that they go out of their way to flood everything and actually make shit look worse than it is. I'm honestly glad I block people easily, cause I will play with my dolls all day and no one will tell me otherwise gulp.
