That is so true, so many shows do that (at least the ones that have lgbt characters). It did not bother me that much in Black Sails tbh. Maybe because the only gay male relationship they show us is between Flint and Thomas in the past and I think they wanted to reveal the romantic side of it. They could have showed us a little sex but it works fine as it is in my opinion. (But on the other hand, they did show a lot of lesbian sex, so yeah...)Anyway, I’ll definitely check Empire out thanks for the suggestion :)
