Update on Athelnar ABO fic
thank you for the people that are getting interested in my fic again!! here is another small section I wrote almost a year ago!

He took vows, Athelstan took vows years ago, back in his land. A mate of God, that's what he said he was. Claimed by God at birth, bound to Him until death. May his neck stay unscarred, for God claims His Omegas with His Light.
Ragnar knows the chant by heart. He mouths it, trying to feel the weight of the words, their meanings. He wants to understand but he can't. The Christian God has no interest in showing His ways to Odinn's favourite, but still He lives in Athelstan's heart. Mates in love.
Athelstan says he doesn’t believe in his single God anymore but Ragnar smells the conflict in him. The Seer has seen the conflict in him. He will keep suffering on his own, dragging Ragnar down with him like an anchor.
