I've seen a good handful of other accounts make these so I thought I would make one too.
My name is Michael. I use He/Him pronouns. Im a trans man. I use strictly masculine or "male" terms (Man, boy, He, etc) absolutely NO feminine terms, and no gn either.
I mostly post things related to fandoms I'm in. Mostly ships, and mostly memes about said ships. Fandoms I'm in include: Venom, DC(CW), The Arcana(Visual Novel), MCU(ish), Good Omens(ish). But I mainly post about the ones in my blog bio.
I write fanfiction sometimes(rarely tbh), but I stall and procrastinate so you won't actually see very much. I draw occasionally, but you'll RARELY see anything here.
I dont make posts that are unrelated to fandom bc I don't really come up with things like that and nobody sees it when I do anyway. I don't usually like to reblog things bc it makes me feel like my blog is cluttered in a way and I cant get to my own posts very easily. (I am not new, I am not from tw*tter).
I don't really post any nsfw here but that is subject to change.
I think that's about it for now so I'll end it there I guess.

I headcannon that Len looks JUST like his mother, I mean straight up cooy and paste, only difference being he's a man and a bit paler.
So now imagine s1 ep3 of the legends, when Len goes back in time to give the emerald to his dad to try and stop him from getting caught by the cops while trying to steal it, but things go a little differently.
Lewis is rifling through the refrigerator, trying to decide if he wants to eat the only food in it, a three day old bologna sandwich, or another beer, before he sits down to go through the blueprints he just laid out on the dining table.
He's nearly made his decision, the beer already in his hand and his arm moving to grab the sandwich as well, when he hears the front doors latch softly slide into place.
He moves.
He makes for the dining room, inent on grabbing the gun set on the armchair on the other side of the table. He just clears the door way, when he stops, turning.
There's a man.
In his house.
The gun and the intrusion immediately swiped from the forefront of his mind, replaced by confusion and a deep unease. His expression shifting in a way that mirrored his emotions.
This man... looked just like his wife. But not like a brother, she was an only child anyways, not like any sort of relative, no, he was almost identical, aside from the obvious. It was, uncanny, at least to him. Though he couldn't place why.
How was this possible? Standing before him was quite literally his wife, but male, slightly paler, and with tattoos...
The man stared, unmoving, unblinking, appearing as though he weren't breathing either. He held something in his left hand, at his side. Lewis spared a glance it.
It was the Maximilian Emerald, the one he was planning on stealing from the museum, the museum in which the blueprints were scattered across his dining table a mere three feet away.
As he looked back up up, he absent mindedly too stock of the intruder.
The man looked dangerous, wearing an appearance that, almost comically, screamed criminal. Shaved hair, dark clothes, sleeves rolled up to reaveal the aforementioned tattoos covering every inch of visible skin, reaching up through his collar and wrapping around his neck, and a scowl, a mean, mean scowl.
He met the mans gaze once more, and the realization hit him like an eighteen wheeler hauling 22 tons of copper coils. His face contorted to a look less of confusion and more of terror as he remembered genetics, he had a son.
A son he'd laid hands on. A son who had seen him lay hands on his mother. His wife.
His breath caught in his throat, his mouth suddenly feeling as though if he ground his teeth, he'd feel sand between them. He slid one foot back a few inches.
The man stepped forward.
"You stay away from me!" Lewis barely managed to get the words out. His hand going for his hip, only to come up short. His eyes darted to the armchair and back again.
The man was closer again.
Lewis scrambled back several feet, his hands coming up as if he could stop the man by sheer force of will. He could not.
For every small step the man took forward, Lewis took two large steps backward. His back hit the wall, fear shooting up his spine like a leather whip.
The man continued.
Lewis sputtered, trying to find something to say to ward off the man that he refused to call anything else, he came up short.
The man stopped, now standing where Lewis had just moments prior. The man raised his hands, transferring the emerald to his right, then set the stone on the table eith a quiet clack, never once breaking eye contact.
He stood, still unmoving, still unblinking, still almost not breathing, still staring at Lewis, for several, hour long moments, before slowly, silently, stepping back, 1, 2, 3, 4 steps before turning completely and leaving.
Lewis didn't know how long he stayed there, standing against the wall, terror written across his ugly mug. He slid down the wall, letting himself fall the rest of the way, landing on his ass with an inaudible uff.
He didnt notice the little dinosaur jammy clad feet run back up the stairs or the sound of the front door locking that followed.
Would anyone be at all interested in fanfic commissions? I know most commissions are usually drawings, and most people do writing prompts and suggestions at request for free, so I wouldnt think anyone would pay for that if they can have someone else do it at no cost, but I've had the idea for a while, and although I want my writing to be free and accessible, I really need some extra income so would anyone bite? And if so, what would y'all suggest for pricing? Obviously I'll need some examples of my writing, if anyone is interested I'll finnaly get around to some of my own WIPs and post them. I can do fluff, smut, angst, etc, fandoms(ship specific) I can write for are: Coldflash, Symbrock, The Arcana Visual Novel(any), Ineffable Husbands, just about any marvel ship with Loki. Theres probably a few more but I'll update if this actually gets any feedback. I probably wont do any longfics or slowburns right now because I dont feel confident in my schedule and my own motivation to get it done in a timely fashion or my own creativety to last that long for one singular story. Lmk if anyones interested.
Finally rewatching The Flash again and geeking out about how close they were filming to where I live and all the overhead shots of Cental City are of my hometown

Need a fic exploring the implications of Barry calling Leonard Good Boy (or even his good boy) and how that ties in with Barry trying to convince him he's a good man and also his trauma from having it beat into him as a child that he is nothing, that hes useless, doesnt listen, etc. etc.
I know one of the biggest rules of fanfic etiquette is to never yuck someones yum, but sometimes I scroll past a fic and just "Oh!" and I know you all do it too

To all those who only read and leave a kudos on completed fics: I CURSE YOU.
I hope that one day you try to do something creative, put yourself out there, work and struggle and do the best you can, and that you are ignored by those who could encourage and support you by doing the bare minimum but they still choose not to. I hope that one day you know how it feels. And I hope you feel shitty. Because you deserve to.
"Oh, I don't leave a kudos in case the story takes a turn I don't like. Because I don't want my name on it then. And can't take it back."
Like, who tf do you think you are??
Seriously ( ͠° ͟ °)
Literally no one knows what fics you've left a kudos on (lbr neither do you) and if they could no one would actually care enough to look up what fics you've decided worthy enough to give them to, no matter what you might think.
And I know assholes will fight me and insist otherwise, but not one person is reading chapter 1 of a fic and then browsing through the kudos list to see if so-and-so is there. Gtfoh with that bullshit.
The only person actually being impacted is the author, who as a result of this selfish ass choice potentially gets nothing even though they may spend days, weeks, months, fucking years labouring over their fic writing 100s, 1,000s, 10,000s, even 100,000s of words and for whatever reason and no matter how much they might want to just aren't able to get to the finish line. Something they're probably already so hard on themselves about and yet now are being purposefully ignored and disregarded on top of that. It's so ugly to me.
And yet these people will also wonder why so many fics are left incomplete. Or are abandoned. Even act confused when some authors eventually crack and peace tf out entirely (sometimes deleting their works with them.)
At least leave a guest kudos after reading through to the end of the first chapter or two, if keeping the sanctity of your username is that goddamn vital to you; it's not that hard.
And, more importantly, it's kind.
If you read fics, you are part of the fandom, which means you're part of a community and that requires you supporting it for it to thrive. I shouldn't have to say this, but here we are.
Please seek therapy, you should NOT be this angry about this.
Absolutely no one is obligated to leave a comment or kudos, its just there if you want to let the author know you liked their fic. It is not required, and no one is being unkind for NOT leaving kudos, especially if they only read the first chapter. NO ONE needs to feel shitty because they didnt leave kudos. Its not immoral to not do it. And just because someone read a fic doesnt mean they like it or that they have to like it. just because a fic is completed or has a lot of words doesnt mean its more worthy of anything than others.
Cursing someone and saying they should be shamed for not pressing a button on any given fic is absolutely insane behavior and extremely concerning.
Yeah, it would be nice for a kudos, a comment even. Sure the reason you listed in the quotations is a bit odd, but it doesnt matter their reasoning for not leaving a kudos, so long as they arent leaving a rude or hateful comment, they arent wrong or immoral or unkind for not leaving a kudos or a comment.
Get a grip. The only one who should feel shitty for their actions is you rn.
Did I tell anybody they have to force themselves to read anyone's fics? Again no
All I said was that those who do read completed fics only and won't leave a kudos until its a finished work--because of the reasons listed, which is what I was seeing people say--suck. And called it out as a shitty thing to do. Because it is.
Did I use blunt, colourful wording to do so. Yeah, I admit that I did. But your takeaway does not match with what I said which is: if you choose to read a fic, even if you don't finish it, but if you've read some of it, you should still leave a kudos as an acknowledgement of the writers hard work because you did read it regardless of if you ended up liking it or not. And that there shouldn't be requirements that the story has to meet before being given it. That's it. That's all I was saying. I don't know where you saw me tell anyone they have to comment (they don't), I intentionally did not mention it because kudos and comments are two very different things. And I am fully aware of that.
So you can chill. Because I clearly touched a nerve.
But I will stand my ground on this: not leaving a kudos is unkind.
If you as reader get to the point where you can see the button, in my opinion, you should be pushing that button.
1.) I never said that you said that. You very clearly missed the entire point of what i said if that what you focused on.
2.) I also never made it out to be that you tried to do that but my entire point you dont have to give kudos to a fic JUST because you read it.
3.) No, they dont suck. Just because you dont agree with it doesnt mean that they are a bad person for it. Its a fucking button. It doesnt matter their reason for not pressing it. No one is being hurt by them not pressing the button. No one is OWED that button being pressed. You might feel that you should press it but what you apply to yourself doesnt apply do everyone.
Not leaving kudos is in no way, shape, or form unkind. You are deluded and uneducated. Being unkind is to actively hurt someone in some way, not pressing a button does not do anything to anyone. Just because something is seen as kind doesnt make not doing it unkind.
The only person who is not chill and has had a nerve touched IS YOU and its painfully obvious. That is NOT "all" you were saying, you said a hell of a lot more than just that. Genuinely, i dont even mean this as an insult, go to therapy. Its genuinely concerning that you have so much hate in your heart for people who have dared to have done something so harmless as to not press a button. The only one being unkind here is you.
Yes. Getting kudos on a fic you worked hard on is nice, but if you are writing fanfic solely for how many likes you mught get when its posted thats an entirely different problem. Fan fic is supposed to be for fun. Not for likes, not for money. And that goes for both reading and writing. Ao3 was literally made so that people can do whatever they want regarding fiction and NOT be shamed. Your claims defeat the entire existence of the website in question.
To all those who only read and leave a kudos on completed fics: I CURSE YOU.
I hope that one day you try to do something creative, put yourself out there, work and struggle and do the best you can, and that you are ignored by those who could encourage and support you by doing the bare minimum but they still choose not to. Am i not woke enough or does anyone else HATE when a masc AMAB person (fictional or real (worse when real)) who uses masc terms and sometimes even considers themselves just flat out a guy, says they dont really mind if you use pronouns other than he/him sometimes and people take that as permission to exclusively use she/her and and call them a woman and use other fem temrs, etc. And it specifically seems to only ever happen to men or masc amab people.

So ive been listening to the song Davey Jones from the dead man's chest soundtrack on repeat for the last two days and i have another AU idea
The Waverider (get it? WAVE rider) as the black pearl
The Oculus is the name of The Flying Dutchman
Gideon is Calypso
Leonard Snart becomes the new captain of the Oculus instead of blowing it up
Gideon is also mermaid statue on the front of the Waverider?
And then idk who would be the previous "davy jones" before Len. I would say Rip because it partially makes sense, and there was that time in the show where he and the human version of Gideon kissed.. but at the same time, hes supposed to be the first captain of the Waverider. I considered making the Waverider the Dutchman but then what would be the black pearl, and the Oculus being the ship instead makes more sense for Lens sacrifice. But i suppose it is an AU so maybe we could just pretend Rip was never the captain of the waverider to begin with.
