I don't think people understand that the handjob on the bus scene wasn't an "over exaggerated scene of pleasure"-- the intense shots and emotions might not have even been about the damn handjob itself. Someone I watched it with was like "it cannot feel that good" (in reference to the hand clutching the window and lips quivering).
It isn't about the damn handjob. It's about the fact that they just learnt that they see each other, and what the demon is supposed to take shape of is the person they love the most. It's about the mutual feelings that they know are now returned. Before they thought it was just a hook-up type of thing, Ryan wouldn't even talk to him at school. But now they know how much they mean to each other.
Like yes, the physical pleasure obviously is the main point, but the thing that makes it toe-curling is the emotions behind it
