Yeah, if a piece of software is big and complicated and needs to be maintained, then it's important for the maintainers to be familiar with how it works and is structured.

Getting into an unfamiliar codebase always requires time to learn and getting to know it, which is a task that you just don't get if you generated it all, so whenever there's a problem that the AI-tool can't solve, you're shit out of luck and have to do things the hard way anyway.
