I don't love to crow over the deaths of my enemies because I feel it reduces me, but I am absolutely filled with glee at the sudden and unexpected death of Lindsey Graham. Fuck that warmongering piece of shit forever, may his memory dim and be forgotten. The worst kind of self-loathing gay man: that genteel southern white man who tries to make up for his (from his perspective) moral failing by doubling down on the violence and domination wielded by the state. He never met a muslim nation he didn't want to bomb. That he was regarded as a sober elder statesman says all you need to know about the bloodthirstiness at the core of American statecraft. He was a massive proponent for the American imperialist adventures of the past twenty years and has untold amounts of blood on his hands. The world is significantly better off without him in it.

I will admit, there are a few celebs I’m pretty sure are LGBTQ and closeted and I kind of hope I’m correct and I hope they feel safe enough to come out one day. And then there is John Travolta who has had persistent rumors about his sexuality for 30+ years and everyone I see someone mention them I’m like “Yeah, but he’s straight. We shouldn’t assign a sexuality to a stranger. That’s a heterosexual Scientologist right there.”
