Rowan: Okay, so the first thing we should do is find the rest of the others. Can I trust that you won’t try to start any more fights today?

Blaze: You act like I can’t behave myself.

Rowan: You normally don’t.

Blaze: Well I’m in a better mood now. What do you want, a pinky promise?

Yang: Maybe, if it means you take a chill pill.

Blaze: *sighs* Alright, I promise I won’t incite any more violence during this whole trip. Better?

Yang: Much, knew you’d come around. *pats behind his shoulder*

Blaze turns away, almost embarrassed at the sign of approval.

Blaze: Can we get going now?

Rowan: Yep, we’ll just head back to the mess and–

Turning the corner they nearly run into another group of students wearing Haven Uniforms.

Rowan: Oh sorry, didn’t mean to ruuu-…

Rowan’s words stopped coming out as soon as he recognized who was in front of him. Amber eyes stared at him as a young woman with black hair and fair skin, looked older but that’s only if you paid attention enough. She flashed a smile, but it wasn’t a genuine smile, that much he could see. You’d think she was a gorgeous woman, but for him, it was like he walked right up to the Devil. Not only that there were two others he was familiar with alongside her. A grey haired man with pale skin and a green haired woman with red eyes and dark skin.

Cinder: My apologies, it seems like we almost ran into each other.

Rowan didn’t speak, he could not tell if it was from fear or shock.

Mercury: Look at that, it seems like you stunned the poor kid with your looks. Maybe you should take a picture kid, it will last longer.

Emerald: Knock it off, Mercury. Kid, we’re kind of in a hurry.

Cinder: Hold on a moment you two.

Cinder narrowed her eyes for a second, in an analytical manner as if she was trying to put together a puzzle.

Cinder: Have we met before?

Rowan: No! No, no, not that I can recall. Definitely not…

Cinder still maintained her gaze, she didn’t say a word. Then she returned to her practiced expression then ‘smiled.’

Cinder: I suppose not. You meet so many transfers around you tend to mix up faces and people. Now, we do have to be off and we can’t be late. See you around.

Rowan only nodded and stepped aside.

Blaze who had been equally as disturbed moved aside as well. He held back making any noise in his throat and tried to not give away any indication of panic with his ears.

Yang: Huh, well that was weird. Third time I’ve seen those students from Haven, but maybe they’re preparing for the Vytal Festival. Anyway, are you guys ready to go?

Both Rowan and Blaze gathered their breaths and shared a look that was saying they dodged a bullet.

Yang: What’s up with you two? You looked like you’ve seen a ghost?

Blaze: More like the Boogeyman.

Rowan: Blaze. Please, just don’t.

Blaze: Rowan, you saw who that was. Don’t pretend like we didn't see who we definitely saw!

Rowan: I know. I know…

Yang: Hey, am I missing something?

Rowan: No! I mean, no. It’s fine Auntie Yang. Everything is fine.

The young man walked forward to reunite with the others, his friend and Yang watching him walk off like he had a storm cloud on his head.

Yang: So, am I missing something?

Blaze: Yeah. That’s one way to put it. All I can say is keep your head on a swivel with those people.

Yang: Who? The Haven Students?

Blaze: I already said all I can say for now. If we find the others I promise to tell you everything.

Yang: Wait I thought Rowan said talking about the future-

Blaze: Screw what he said earlier, I didn’t promise anything.

Yang: …Okay. You’re starting to make me nervous, you should know?

Blaze: If I were you, I’d be scared too.

Ruby: It’s been awhile since Yang went to go find Rowan. I hope everything’s okay…

Blake: Ruby, it’s been like 20 minutes.

Ruby: But my future son is out there all alone somewhere! Can you imagine all the dangerous stuff that’s out there?

Weiss: You seemed to have adjusted to becoming a maternal figure rather quickly.

Ruby: Motherhood is not just a role. It’s a calling…

Blake: Oh my god. *facepalming*

Weiss: I take it back, you’re not taking this seriously at all.

Ruby: No, girls seriously! I’m actually worried and I think I’m freaking out. Like what if he knocks over a statue and then, poof he’s gone?!

The two present members RWBY, and JNPR, look at each other with nervous glances.

Ren: I don’t think that’s how it works…

Nora: But Renny, it’s time travel! We don't know how any of this works!

Jaune: Brothers, for once Nora is right. I should probably go look for him.

Pyrrha: Want I come along?

Jaune: No that’s fine Pyrrha, I think it would be easier if I spoke with him on my own.

Pyrrha: A-Are you sure? I really don’t–

Jaune: I know. Thank you Pyrrha, but… I think it would help more if his Dad was the one to talk to him. Makes sense right?

Pyrrha: Okay… if you think that’s what’s best.

Jaune: Honestly, I’m not sure, but I gotta try. Right?

Nora: What a good dad… *tearing up*

Ren: Nora. *handing her a tissue* We’re here if you need help.

He was interrupted when he bumped into another person. He steadied himself and looked down to see that he bumped into a short blonde, blue eyed girl. She seemed Ruby’s height and wasn’t wearing a standard uniform. Their eyes met his, and suddenly he was knocked back as the young girl had jumped onto him and started hugging him.

???: Daddy! I can’t believe it’s really you!

Jaune: *puzzled* …Huh?

???: Oh right, sorry I got so excited.

The girl hopped down and tidied her hair, then cleared her throat.

???: I know this may come as a shock, but don’t be alarmed. My name is Summer, and I’m your daughter from the future!

Jaune: D-Daughter?!

WBN: Another one!?

Ruby: Wait… what did you say your name was?

The blonde girl who called herself, “Summer,” looked over to Ruby and her eyes widened. The look of shock was all over her face before changing to one of excitement. Suddenly she lunched herself across the table and was mere inches before crashing into the red head girl.

Summer: Mommy! You’re here too! Oh my gosh look at you! You’re so short and cute!

Ruby: Wha-? Mommy… again? *dazed and looked like she was gonna pass out*

Summer: Oh, I’m sorry, did I hit you too hard? I guess you’re not used to my hugs yet.

Ruby: D-Did you say your name was…

Summer: *nodding* Yep. You decided to name me after grandma. I know I don’t really look like her, but I try my best to live up to her legacy. Hehe, sorry. That’s a lot to unpack, isn’t it?

Ruby: A little… so, are you Rowan’s sister?

Summer: Oh! You met Rowan!? That means he’s here right?!

Ruby: Yeah! We saw him a bit ago. Yang went to find him.

Summer: Oh that’s great! Joanna was right, I knew he could find him if we followed that portal!

Weiss: Portal? You mean that ball of light that destroyed half the courtyard this morning?

Summer: Oh, so that’s why it looked that way. Well, the portal I came in took me to a flower garden. I actually thought I may have landed in the wrong time from him but it looks like my friends and I landed in different spots!

Blake: Friends? There’s more of you here?

Summer: Ah… yes! I would say so. There’s me, Joanna, Liena, and Blaze came here to find my brother. Though Peri, Ivy and Rayna decided to stay behind in our time. Or would it be “stay ahead”?

Ruby: So you’re looking for Rowan?

Summer: Yeah we need to bring him home. As much as I would love to stay here with you all, we need to get home soon.

Ruby: I guess that makes sense. So, you look like Rowan’s age? Are you his older or younger sister?

Summer: *smiling* I’m his twin!

Ruby: T-T-Twin…?

At that revelation, Ruby proceeds to pass out and fall over.

Summer: Huh? Mommy! Are you okay?!

Ruby: *whispering* Twins…two… at the same time?

Blake: I think she’s fine, possibly overwhelmed. *helping her leader up from the floor and seating her down*

Summer: Oops, I must’ve overdid it again. Hehe.
