Ok so I have a lot to say about this au that affected this design but I don’t think I will cus it’s a lot and I’d rather put it somewhere else ,I would like to have a yt channel where I can make videos abt this stuff but there’s some stuff I wanna do 1st so not yet outside of that im not too sure what im gonna do with this au but for now im just gonna try to finish these vol 1-3 designs and post em here

Um so I was supposed to do this and I procrastinated by making a miku design and now I’m procrastinating making a teto design by making this am I not so organized

Anyway I was trying not to look at other redesigns bc sometimes when I’m doing stuff like this I’ll see some that so crazy impressive that I can’t possibly do anything better lol but I did and they are unfortunatelyfortunately just as amazing as I was talking about but I still finished this design cus at in the beginning of the series ruby has a very distinct style and I hear a lot of ppl call her goth but always kinda saw it as a goth+emo mix thing and I tried to design her as both even tho I see most pick one or none which I understand but I think it’s actually a perk if the main character has such a distinct style to make them stand out

I didn’t add any crosses bc I back when was concept-ing I thought oh the prolly don’t have Christianity lol(not that that is the only religion or where crosses relevant )but like who cares if they don’t right?I don’t think that it’s dumb that there were crosses in her original design at all but then I was like oh wait I’ve redone some of the world building what IS significant?so tldr her wing earring is the wing of the national bird of vale that is magical and can only be found in the forever fall forest
