I'm reading The Tainted Cup and it's a murder mystery but set in this world that has undersea monsters that are like Kaiju and giant walls built around the ocean to keep them out. And I really don't think it will be the case but I do think it would be funny if the Kaiju aspect of the world has nothing to do with the murders.
