is anyone keeping up with this thing where the body of a madoka magica cosplaying trans woman was found in a german river and everyone immediately with no evidence started theorizing it was a horrific transphobic hate crime only for it to be revealed it was a likely suicide and the trans woman in question was wanted for kidnapping an underage girl and was a sex offender for "sex acts with child under 15"....

most of the discussion and sources coming out about this are not in english so its proving a bit hard for me to follow the full details (here is the government sex offender page), but is this not just a real life example of the exact sort of shit that has been going on here on tumblr too? Reminds me of all of the blogs that were deleted for posting literal pedophilia, incest, and rape fantasies, who are then rallied behind by the entire site and portrayed as victims, just because the people running them were trans women. And how about how that same circle of bloggers have been posting about how the sex offender registry is fascist or whatever?

You have to raise awareness of ‘men’s mental health’ so women can spot the signs of a suicidal man and run the fuck away. We all know how men love to kill their wives, girlfriends, children, exes, coworkers etc. when they’re planning on killing themselves.

Men never worry if they look inappropriate in public btw. They don't think about if their ass sticking up when they bend over is reminding males around them of porn. They don't worry that their breasts are visible when they lean forward. They don't worry about looking crass by sitting with their legs spread. They don't worry about their belly pooching out when they slouch. They can wipe their eyes, scratch their face, scrub their face with their hands freely whenever they want without worrying about smudging their makeup.

one thing i find insane is that a university educated woman with a career and financial independence and lived experiences of patriarchy (including heterosexual dynamics) can conclude “i don’t want to date a man, i don’t want to get married, and i don’t want children”
