but a lot of this is confirmation bias - we look for things that align with an opinion/ theory & disregard anything that contradicts it. I was gonna make a post about things that contradict the last one but i've thought more; i was gonna say i'm a strong rule follower but also breaker but actually i'm a strong follower of my own moral compass & rules & only follow those that align with that, socially and otherwise. i really have no respect or regard for authority or seniority if i deem it pointless/ having no standing/ point/ greater purpose (for good). I was a good and smart kid and generally well behaved but absoLUTELY beefed with teachers and rules i disagreed with & didn't respect - if i felt they were power tripping, weren't being fair, i wouldn't play ball or goad them. this has and will always be the case. i think it's one reason i struggle to fit into one group or community, culture etc. i don't fully id with the anarchists (i'm talking about my local specific group) & their politics - i wanna break the rules when i want to, not because you've decreed it so. them & the queer community are who i'm the most aligned with but def not all the way. i sound all tyler durden lone wolf guy ughhhhhhh but ygm. oh and i stim like crazy, hand flaps n all when i'm excited but i'm hot and socially aware enough to get away with and disguise it

i know we're all diagnosing ourselves with everything nowadays and i mainly playfully call myself it half knowing there's a chance & half refusing to self diagnose buttttt i've got adhd so is it just symptom cross over cuz i hate change (HATE change), hate a change in routine esp last minute, am pedantically fact based in everything (rigidly so - i think there's a scientific explanation for almost everything, don't like most conspiracies bar the obvious ones that ACTUALLY have evidence, idk like i need to live in a fact based and peer reviewed and proven world otherwise everything falls apart for me), to the point i WILL correct people when i definitely shouldn't, incredibly bad socially, have very little understanding of group social situations specifically, am compulsively honest (i cannot lie and if I do it's not for very long - the truth always bursts quite violently out of me) - I am very black and white and radically honest with everyone cuz i believe knowledge is power & ppl should be able to make informed decisions and honestly is almost always the best policy (it's more how you choose to be honest as opposed to the honesty itself - you can be kind and gentle with the truth, but you should always tell it). i have my lil special interests - since a kid i've been obsessed with the environment n nature and climate change lol, i made lil picket signs and had t-shirts n subscribed to greenpeace n naitonal geographic kids n nagged my parents to have a wild section in the garden & a millllion other things & now I'm a gardener for a living & have my own conservation based community project and i'm OBSESSED with bugs esp arachnids and and and

been dogsitting my mum's/ the family dog (nutmeg) & i've washed dried n brushed her this evening i always try to groom her when she's round cuz she gets dirty on our walks, it's nice for mum & i get to take time brushing out mats & burrs etc & generally giving her a good old pamper. love this little old innocent baby dog. she's older & arthritic so tomorrow I'm gonna give her a massage and i just love her so much.
