Anyone discouraging you from voting is actively trying to suppress your vote. Don't fall for that shit.

Not voting is not boycotting. Boycotting requires preventing income, like boycotting Starbucks because they support Israel. Voting is your power, and by not using it you are giving up your power.

Republicans ALWAYS vote. They know if democrats always vote, there will be no republican wins, so they do whatever it takes to keep democrats from winning. That means removing people from the voting registry, reducing the number and places to vote, removing and reducing rhe number of ballot dropboxes, fake ballot dropboxes, propaganda, and even violence.

Guys be ready to hear a SLEW of sewage poured out against her for being POC, and a woman, and worst of all a POC Woman, who is also a Democrat.

You're going to need to be able to recognize that the Far Right MAGA team will say literally anything and lie a lot to get you to vote 3rd party or not vote at all. And now they have a target who is a LOT of the things they hate all at once.

No she's not perfect, No you don't have to LIKE Harris, yes we need to show up anyway because the alternative is too terrible to imagine and unfortunately very easy to imagine.

So in undergrad, my bestie lived in a true shithole of an apartment. When he moved in, he threw a housewarming party and brought out a bunch of washable markers and let us all draw on the walls. Being a tribe of feral assholes, we started competing to see who could draw the most obnoxious/offensive things. IIRC, there was George Bush frenching Ronald Regan, a skeleton with tits, some very rude portraits of the pope, etc etc.

now one of our friends who I hope to god has gone to therapy since then shut himself up in the walk in closet and painted the entire back of the door. He wouldn’t let anyone see it til he was done, and guys, I had nightmares about it. He’d driven a lovecraftian monster like you wouldn’t believe. It had eyes where it shouldn’t have eyes, teeth where it shouldn’t have teeth, and no matter where you stood it looked at you. We were all suitably impressed and horrified.

Anyway four years later bestie moves out and repaints the entire apartment.
