2 pane mosaic of the Milky Way taken in Tenerife, Spain. Taken using a Canon 6D and Samyang 24mm Lens. 

I took almost an identical picture this last time i was in Tenerife but this time i think the trees look a bit cooler. 

Milky Way taken from Tenerife looking south towards the lights of the seaside resorts. Its quite incredible how much the camera will pick up, the light pollution really dosent look that bad when you are there!

Taken at about 2100m on the side of a road in Tenerife on the TF21 up the volcano. 

Possibly my best picture to date, this was taken 2 weeks ago in May 2017 in Tenerife, Spain. The image is a stack of 3 images which has been processed to extract the detail in the dust lanes. I took this at about 2 am at 2138m on the side of a Volcano. Canon 6D, Samyang 24mm, F5.6 ISO 800 X 3

Omega Centauri is a globular cluster that spans 230 light years and is made up of over 10 million stars. Taken in Tenerife, 2138m altitude, 6D, 200mm, F4, ISO800 20x1min

Another image of this region which was taken back last summer in Switzerland. I only just remembered i never processed this one!

Out doing a shoot this evening and couldnt resist this shot. 

Took this in Kessingland Suffolk on the 29/12/2016. I was very lazy in my set up and my polar alignment was pretty bad so only managed to salvage 42 subs of 75 secs. Canon 700D, Canon 400mm L, F6.3 ISO800, iOptron SkyTracker.

So people seemed to quite like the image I posted yesterday so im posting another one, this time the moon is just rising above some clouds. Getting images of the moon with foreground detail is bloody difficult and can only be done when its low in the sky. 

Taken a day before the optimum due to the weather forecast.
