Inspired by a scene from the fifth episode of The Mighty Nein season 1, and Caleb Widogast's story from Critical Role’s second campaign, which I've known for years - and still, its reveal in the animated series hit me like a sack of bricks. The character belongs to Liam O'Brien, of course. ____________

I want to take this opportunity to talk about something crucial, and I hope at least some of you will take a minute to read this. I try to make people aware of the ongoing horrific war in Ukraine, as I am personally affected by it on a daily basis. Besides constant bombing, the russians have yet again damaged our energy grid to the point where we only get sparse hours of electricity per day. For many people, it means no heating and no running water, for disabled people living in high-rise buildings it means a complete inability to leave their homes.

But there is something that never makes the news, and it is just as important. russians are now deliberately hitting our stocks of medicine - three massive warehouses were destroyed in just two months. Their strategy is to kill as many Ukrainians as they can, including attacks on hospitals, ambulances, and medical infrastructure, among other things. Please don't let false narratives cloud your judgment: the existence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or any air-defence capabilities does not change the genocidal intent of this war, and it should be spoken about. ____________
