It just hit me how absolutely magical it is that society has developed machines that can wash clothes.
Like think about the material science, these machines can remove dust, dirt, grime, food, etc FROM INBETWEEN WOVEN STRANDS OF FIBERS. It requires no human effort (outside of loading and unloading) and normally takes less than hour.
