I hope you're doing well! you get more than 3 ;) (mainly because I wanted this whole bit lol)
âBobby? You here?â
Michelle looked over at the door as it opened. She was curled up on the couch again, reading the journal of an old hunter who died in the late 1800s. âHeâs not here.â
âWhat?â They dropped their bags at the bottom of the stairs as they came into the makeshift library.
âWhat do you mean heâs not here? Where is he?â Dean asked, looking around as if expecting she was lying to him.
Michelle sighed. âHeâs outside with Jane.â
The brothers looked at each other in confusion.
Dean asked what they were both thinking. âWhy?â
âI think theyâre skinning rabbits she caught? Itâs that or sheâs making him do physical therapy.â
âJane knows physical therapy?â Sam didnât look like he believed her either.
Michelle shrugged. âWell, her version of it.â
âWe not going to talk about the rabbits thing?â Dean made a face with a grossed out expression. âThey skinned it?â
âLast week she found a deer somewhere soâŚrabbits at least have less blood.â
Hi, thanks for asking! I'm currently workin on my 3rd rewrite of this SPN fic so here you go:
âWe are not meant to be singular entities,â Jane explained. âWe care for one another and that is how we survive. We are one in this trial, and we shall guard each otherâs weaknesses and raise our strengths as one. We will need trust in each other for our success in this.â
Hiii thanks for asking! A little more than three but...
âItâs really weird that you were a ghost,â Michelle said suddenly, âbut probably good that you were alone.â
âWhat?â Kelly looked at her sharply in confusion.
âYeah,â Michelle nodded, not looking at her. âIf there were others, you wouldnât have been the tallest for once.â
Kellyâs jaw dropped open before she smacked Michelle in the shoulder. âYou bitch.â
Michelle broke out into giggles, the weight breaking as Kelly joined in.
for you i'll pull out one of the TR oneshots I have in progress...
âYou have to go!â she hisses at him.
âNo,â he looks down at her. âIâm not leaving until weâve made up.â
âThereâs nothing to make up, Ran! I told you, weâre done!â

ok so, I approached my local library with a proposal to donate a mural as a way to A: build portfolio/gain practical experience and B: give back to a beloved public institution. The director was very enthusiastic about it and i've been working on it since the beginning of March. Come with me as I endeavor to paint what is in all honesty an excessive amount of birds
I wanted the birds to look like they were actually in the space so first thing after doing the draft was to do a lighting study
after that I covered the walls in letters in lieu of a projector/vr headset bc i have neither of those :) Then i take a picture of the section of wall and superimpose the lineart over top of it so I can pencil in the lines
et voila
and that was a whole week on it's own so next comes the paintin' >:)
my chains are broken i am FREE. although i did have a great deal of fun with this, the barring on the wings itself took me like four days and i am READY to move on
this was a week and a half of continuous work so please excuse me for getting a little emotional in the bg đ
BIRD NUMBER 10!!! The Male Mallard Duck, Anas platyrhynchos
the male and female ones are gonna be posted separately bc they're taking a lot longer lol but yea! super happy i was able to capture the iridescent green of the head, i found metallic green and blue paint at a craft store that really made his head POP. it looks better in person i promise
ALSO!! As this is the 10th one, BIG announcement. The end is in sight!!!!! I plan to finish within the next 3 weeks and there will be a small dedication ceremony/ unveiling happening at the library to commemorate its completion on the 16th of May. If you live in the Western New York region and want to check it out for yourself shoot me a dm!
Also thank you everyone for your kind words and support throughout this whole process, it's been a genuine treat thinking there are potentially thousands of you out there cheering me on while I paint this đĽš
we're movin right along with bird numero 11!! The lady Mallard!! Anas platyrhyncos
the 16th is looming in the distance so i'm trying to get thru these as quickly as i can so i can have as much time for the GBH as possible. i still need to do the names next to all of them so i've got about a week and a half to finish everything which is GREAT because i have adhd and nothing gets my ass in gear like a fuckin deadline, let me tell you
power couple that they are, here's bird number 12 and 13,
the Northern Cardinals, Cardinalis cardinalis
and NOW that they are complete, ITS GO TIME, in the next five days (library's closed for mother's day đđ) i need to have the GBH fully rendered, the names of the birds vectored, weeded, masked, applied to the wall, and then painted, plus additional cattails throughout. I may be able to get away with just getting the GBH done in time for the unveiling and then just have the names and cattails added later, but i'm gonna really try to get it all done in time. BUT, i have a plan. Part of why i take so long on these is because i really am just figuring it out as I do it lmao. there have been many a time where i am sitting on top of the ladder googling "how to paint birds" but I think if i take the time tomorro to do all that figuring out how to approach it beforehand, this will go a lot faster. I may also recruit some of my artist friends to help with the placing of the names... hrmm we'll see.
Anyways, shout out to the librarian who tracked down exactly the thing i needed so i could figure out where to place the highlights in my birds eyes, ur the real mvp
thank you to everyone who reached out or got excited about this project, it genuinely gave me the fuel i needed to keep going. In total, the 480+ total hrs it took me to cover this wall pales in comparison to how long its expected to spend on there, hopefully imparting a sense of beauty and love for the natural world to the next generation and here's hoping i'm only getting started with these.

Title: Where All Roads Meet
Rating: T
Pairing: Steve x OC x Bucky
Fandom: MCU/Avengers
Warnings: Soft!Dark!Steve. Soft!Dark!Bucky. Technically sortaDark!Tony? Kidnapping. Biting. SoulmateAU (implied).
Summary: For most, finding soulmate is impossible. Which is why when soulmates are found, they trump everything - including your emergency contacts and even guardianship. But soulmates reap what they sow. If you're not happy, neither are they. - She doesn't know why they took her off the street, but their first mistake was refusing her coffee.
Notes: Please READ THE WARNINGS. To be honest, this came from a dream about escaping and then going about my day.
She must look a sight. She knows this and yet sheâs far too tired and irritated to care. All she wants is a cup of coffee and one of those chocolate croissants she sees behind the glass. Thankfully she managed to hide her debit card. Sheâs not entirely sure why they didnât check her socks but whatever, sheâs not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. She figures they didnât expect her to be a threat, especially with the way they pulled her off the street. They were looking for someone to keep. She didnât bother asking why.Â
âAre youâŚokay?â the barista asks. Itâs sweet of the girl to ask.Â
âYeah, just fell on my way here.â It doesnât look like the kid believes her but she didnât lie. She just didnât completely tell the truth. She fellâŚout of a window. She also managed to shimmy through a gap that they probably didnât think she could. She ripped part of her shirt and the tights that they let her keep on.Â
The kid finally hands over the coffee and she takes a sip, ignoring how it burns just so she can taste it. Sweet relief. She takes the croissant and sits down, facing the door. Sheâs not close enough to the window that sheâll be easily seen if they walk by. She canât make it too easy.Â
She probably should be more concerned about the fact that she was basically stolen by a bunch of heroes but if sheâs honest, it felt a bit like a vacation. She didnât need to worry about work because they had locked her in a room. Sure, her family was probably worried sick but they didnât talk every day regardless so hopefully there was a bit of time before that. Sheâs not sure how long itâs been since they found her, since they mentioned giving everything to the world and wanting something in return. Not that she knew why she was apparently part of that plan. Sheâs seen pictures in the news. They could have whoever they wanted.Â
She muses on the thought and orders another croissant and coffee once sheâs done the first. She should probably eat something more substantial but with what sheâs been through, she deserves it. At least in her opinion.Â
Sheâs considering what her next step is going to be, when an arm reaches past her heading for the croissant. She turns and bites down, as hard as she can.Â
âShit!âÂ
The arm yanks back and she digs in just enough to break skin before she lets go. She turns back to her coffee, grabbing the croissant and taking a bite if only to help wash the taste out of her mouth.Â
âIf you liked it rough, all you had to do was ask.â The person who made the attempt to steal her food moved, lowering themselves into the seat across from her and lounging as though he belonged there.Â
She stared at Tony Stark. âArenât you rich enough to buy your own food?â
âYou really put us out for a spin,â he said, ignoring the question. âRogers demanded I get Friday to look for you. You know, cash would have been a better option if you wanted to stay under the radar.â
She knows. She could have swiped someones wallet, stuck to the side streets and gotten someone to order for her. She doesnât say that though, sticking to drinking her coffee.Â
He peers at her over his glasses. âYou know Iâve been told people wanted a piece of me but I donât think they meant it as literally as you did.âÂ
She ignores him. It must grate on his nerves because itâs not long before heâs leaning forward, still staring at her.Â
âYou could have gone anywhere. Gone home, I mean sure, first place they would have looked, but why here?âÂ
âI wanted coffee.â They had refused to give it when she asked. Sticking to water and other healthy alternatives. She was pretty sure it had been drugged but she took what she could and left as soon as she was able. Itâs not her fault they werenât good kidnappers.Â
He stares at her like he doesnât understand. âHuh.â
She glances around. People are staring and talking to one another, likely wondering why Tony Stark is sitting across from a woman who looks homeless. Oh the things she could say. Sheâs pretty sure someone is recording. She waits.Â
Stark seems to notice the others as he pulls out his phone and starts typing. Sheâs not sure if heâs contacting the others or disrupting any feeds that showcase them as they are now. She knows sheâs not getting out of this, but she didnât expect to. Not when she knew who had taken her in the first place.Â
She tunes Stark out as he starts talking. Sheâs sure she could probably pick apart some of what he says, but theyâre in public and despite the image he presents, sheâs pretty sure he knows there are things they shouldnât sayâŚlike how they know each other. Sort of. Sheâs never actually met Tony Stark before this moment. She canât say that she missed much.Â
A hand touches her shoulder and she looks just enough to see that Captain America has joined them. He leans down and kisses her cheek. She doesnât lean into it but she also doesnât recoil and she sees his pleased smile at that.Â
âHere you are,â he says. âWeâve been looking for you, sweetheart.âÂ
She stares at him, a little amused at the slight frustration she hears in his voice. She wonders how long it would have taken them if she didnât use her card.Â
A chair scraps forward and she feels her chair shift, just enough so that thereâs one on each side of her. Sheâs being blocked in and she has no doubt there are others. Not like she could get away from the two supersoldiers guarding her. Not like this. James Barnes sits on one side, silent but present and carefully watching the other patrons of the place. Steve sits on the other, turned slightly so he can face her. He looks as though heâs going to try and give her his patented disappointed look that sheâs seen on youtube videos. The ones they showed teenagers in school.Â
âGotta watch this hellcat,â Stark says. âAlready took a bite out of me.â He shows them his arm which she notices still has her teeth marks. She tries not to look too pleased at that.Â
âShouldnât touch things that arenât yours,â she says.Â
The men all look at her in surprise. She hasnât said much through the whole experience, preferring to watch, listen and wait.Â
âTonyâŚâ she hears Rogers say. âYou touched her.â
Stark somehow looks like he lounges further into the chair. Sheâs tempted to nudge it. See if he falls off. âPlease, Iâm innocent. I went for the food, not the girl. âSides, Pepper would kill me.âÂ
Itâs interesting, she notes, that heâs afraid of Pepper for touching her but not for being a part of this thing. Heâs not worried about helping them. Â
Rogers turns back to her, glancing over her as she sips at her coffee. Sheâs going to push this as far as she can, make sure she can at least enjoy this cup if itâll be her last.Â
âWhy did you leave?âÂ
âWhy did you kidnap me?â
âWe didnât-â she pins him with a look, cutting him off. Rogers takes a deep breath as they both ignore the amused billionaire across from them. âIt was explained.â
âI didnât listen,â she says. âI left because I was refused coffee.â
âYou didnât go home?â Barnes asks quietly.Â
âI wanted coffee,â she repeats.Â
âYou boys caught yourself an addict,â Stark says.Â
She remains silent. Even as Barnes puts his arm on the back of her chair. She can feel the heat of it. At least it isnât the metal one. Sheâs not sure how that would work against hair and she has no desire to test it out and end up with a bald patch.Â
âDo you know my name?â she cuts him off as she asks.Â
âKnow youâof course we know your name.â He gives it with ease, as though heâs said it a thousand times before despite her hearing it from him now for the first time. It answers some of her questions. They know her. She wasnât a sudden choice, being just unlucky enough to walk by. She was chosen because they know her. She takes another sip of coffee, thinking about that.Â
Rogersâ knee knocks against hers as it presses closer. Sheâs more closed in than before, with each man next to her shifting closer. Itâs almost as though the walls are pressing in on her. Itâs not unexpected though. Not since she was locked in that room.Â
The soldiers radiate heat. Itâs not uncomfortable, at least not yet, but it lulls her into a state of complacency. Or it would if she hadnât drank two cups of coffee after not having caffeine for how long.Â
âWell, isnât this cozy,â Stark says, looking at them. âWho knew your plan would work? I mean sheâs not running. I would have expected her to run though. Further than this. Not that it would have mattered.âÂ
âStark,â Barnesâ voice was hard. âLeave.âÂ
âAlright, Terminator, donât get your panties in a twist.â
âTony.â Rogersâ does not sound impressed.Â
Stark rolls his eyes and gets up. âSure, only call me when you need to track someone down. You sure you donât want to chip her?âÂ
âIâm not a dog,â she says, deadpan.Â
Stark turns to her, looking like heâs about to say something, when Rogersâ stands up. âIâm leaving, Iâm leaving.âÂ
She focuses back on her coffee, ignoring the quiet conversation that sounds like threats between the two men standing. Would they let her get another? Maybe a latte? Something with cinnamonâŚ.
âHow many have you had?âÂ
She looks at Barnes who is staring at her. âHmm?â
He frowns slightly but nods towards the table. âJust the two?â
She narrowed her eyes back at him. âThree once I get the next one.âÂ
His gaze darts down. âNot four?â
âItâs still early.âÂ
He grins at her and her breath catches. He looks younger when he smiles, more carefree. Even as his arm moves slightly closer to her shoulders. If they were alone, she knows that he would not hesitate to touch her. Sheâs surprised heâs holding back now. He doesnât have to. Not with the laws that are in place.Â
Rogers sits back down next to her. âYou scared us, doll.âÂ
âYou locked me in a room,â she replies. She doesnât look at either of them. Instead she looks over the others in the coffee shop. Theyâre still staring and talking. She wonders if any of them have figured it out yet. Or they think sheâs been rescued by them.Â
âJust for a bit,â Barnes says. âHad to make sure.â
She doesnât bother responding to that.Â
âSweetheart,â Rogers leans in slightly closer. âCome home.âÂ
She needs a shower and she should probably eat something else than just croissants and coffee. Not that sheâll ever admit it out loud.Â
âWeâll make you coffee.â
She looks at Barnes next to her out of the corner of her eye. âWhat kind?âÂ
âWhatever you want.âÂ
âWellâŚâ Rogers trailed off as she noticed Barnes look over her head at him. âOnly the good stuff. We can steal it from Tony.â
She snorts slightly into her cup. âCanât fault that,â she murmurs. She sighs slightly and looks at the men sheâs stuck between. âYou kidnapped me.âÂ
âWe did,â Rogers agrees. She looks at him in surprise. She wasnât expecting him to admit it this quickly. âYou know why.â
âHmm,â she doesnât admit that. âDo you drink coffee?â she asks, diverting the subject.Â
âYeah.â
âHow?
âBlack,â Rogers says.Â
âSame here, doll,â Barnes agrees.Â
âUgh,â she stands up. They follow until she waves them down. âWait here. Iâm ordering more. If weâre going to do this, we need to expand your horizons.âÂ
She can feel their eyes on her as she orders a couple different drinks, one super sweet just to see their reactions. Thereâs no way to slip out of here undetected and no use to sound an alarm. So sheâll wait. They might not underestimate her as much, but theyâll get complacent and then sheâll have another chance. If only to keep them on their toes.Â
