Hi guys I need advice for my geese. So I have 5 geese (idk the breed but they're like the stereotypical white ones) and usually they all walk in a group. They act like normal geese, mean and horrible, but recently their behavior has changed. One of the males ran off with a female leaving the other 3 males together. Now they have been acting crazy. They do things they've never done before: running everywhere, standing in the road, just being crazy. Recently they were near some Candian geese so idk if they gave them some type of disease but idk what's wrong with them.

You don’t need someone to bag your groceries. People who are striking don’t want to hurt people. No one is ever really hurt by a strike. This is the same argument used when people block roads to protest. “But what about the emergency vehicles!!!” they cry, while watching a video of a crowd of protesters parting for an ambulance. The truth is, vital services will still function, because the people who strike have more compassion in their small toe than you have in your entire body.

You remember that Scrubs episode where the nurses went on strike? But they couldn’t actually walk out because of their patients. So they slowed down all their administrative work that didn’t involve helping sick and injured people. That’s it.

People are so worried about ME ME ME ME when workers go on strike. Because either you got yours so you think no one else has a right (because for some reason you think rights are a pie, and if someone gets more rights, somehow you get less? Yeah, about that. The US just pissed $1.5 trillion away into the stock market, so there’s more than enough pie for you AND the bagger you just yelled at to hurry up), or you were cheated and abused your whole life and now you’re 70 and destitute and you think everyone else should be as miserable as you are. Fuck you.

Strike. Fight for your rights. Store clerks, delivery personnel, and stock clerks work ten times harder than any CEO, and I’ll gladly be inconvenienced if it means you get higher fucking pay.

I’d also like to say in the time we studied WWII in school, the history textbooks never mentioned him. I had never heard of the guy until I watched “The Imitation Game” which I 110% recommend you watch if you haven’t.Alan Turing was a blessing to humanity who saved (once again) 14 to 21 million lives, and he is left out of history because he was gay.

And this is just one example?? So many brilliant and heroic people are left out of history because of their race, their gender, their sexuality, their religion, and it’s just because some bigots in positions of influence get to decide what parts of history are remembered.

And he dies when he was 41. Just imagine if he lived in a world where he was accepted. Imagine the technology we would have today and how many more lives would have been saved. No person deserves what Turing got, especially not someone as brilliant as him.
