We'll get there one day at a time.

Sadly, the D&D campaign Soren was in ended unceremoniously after some interpersonal developments within the friend group. I'm quite upset about how it all went. A major part of my life for the last 8 years is just gone. Just like that. There are some people I can't look at in the same light I once did. No one specific person is to blame, and we were probably all going to stop playing together at some point now that many of us are approaching our 30s and have moved away from the small city we all met in. But change is so hard, and so many things have felt out of my control lately. I feel like I have to mourn this somehow. I will probably draw Soren again one day. Though I'm debating removing him from my artfight page this year. I haven't decided yet. I still love him dearly and he represents a lot of important things to me, I don't want to let that go. But I need time to think about him as a character removed from the setting I've moulded him for over the last 3.5 years. If anyone from the campaign is reading this, I hold no anger toward you, I promise. I just wish it could've gone differently.
