If you're on twitter or threads or reddit, and you say, "Oh, I had a terrible experience with Delta Airlines. They canceled my flight and then booked me into a hotel room with a stranger," and you tag Delta, there's a chance Delta Airlines itself will come and apologize. Maybe even give you some SkyMiles or something.

But if you complain about a terrible airline experience on tumblr, all you can hope for is that someone might come along and write slash fiction about two guys who get booked into the same hotel room by Delta Airlines.

Remember when Lil Nas X beautifully explored his sexuality, seduced and killed the devil to the banger of all time, and instead of cheering on this openly gay and proud Black artist for his artistry and fighting back against respectability politics, suddenly said respectability politics was all the Queerest Place on the Internet cared about? Hm. Wonder what happened there.

Hey, guys. I absolutely hate to do this again because I really thought we had our shit fixed for foreseeable future, but we just got hit with FOUR things that have absolutely knocked us out. I’m physically disabled, have BPD and autism and am unable to work. I’ve tried applying for disability but it never goes my way unfortunately. We have family that helps us out, but my dad just recently had surgery so he hasn’t been able to go to work and he doesn’t have the funds to help us this time.

Our water bill is $217.84, meaning we must have a leak somewhere in the house, but we currently owe our landlord back rent and we can’t call him and get him to fix the problem until we’ve paid him. I’m not gonna ask for help with our rent because it’s $1,150 a month and I just don’t think that’s a reasonable goal for me to set up along with all the OTHER bills we currently have. We also have a power bill due that’s $261. These are due soon. The water bill is due 06/10/26 and the power is due 06/08/26.

On top of all of this, BOTH my bank accounts are currently overdrafted. My main one being overdrafted $161 and my cashapp one is overdrafted $99.71. Realistically, I don’t know what the hell we’re going to do. But I just wanted to reach out because I’m beyond desperate. So is my wife. She starts back at college in a few days and she’s ALSO going to be needing gas to get to and from the school. (Also we have very little food at the moment.) I know life is hard for everyone right now, and I hate asking for help more than anything in the world, but I don’t know what to do. I just don’t know what to do.
