Unsure of Pretty Much Everything

I have a theory regarding Hobie Brown having a close relationship with a police captain who dies during a fight with a supervillain.  I know most of the internet is laughing at this idea, because Spider-Punk hates cops, like all good punks.   He has the blue laces that means he killed a cop.  And that’s valid.  But take a walk with me.  

Gimmie more Cop Krillin and Saiyaman 1 and 2 interacting with the police force and general public. Gimmie Krillin and 18 cuddling on the couch with Maron watching a movie. Gimmie Gohan giving a lecture on his Super Saiy-ants and then him, Pan, and Videl going out to dinner and ice cream. Gimmie Goku interacting with the other farmers. Gimmie Chichi, Videl, and Bulma sitting around gossiping and talking mad shit about their oblivious meathead Saiyan husbands. Gimmie Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta at a buffet talking about their wives and how wired Saiyans are for strong women with Piccolo there flipping shit. Gimmie Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and Puar shooting the shit and living life.

I'd even want stuff beyond the Z Fighters. What's Whis get up to when Beerus is asleep and nobody's around to train? Or the Oracle Fish? What's a day like for Cheelai, Broly, and Lemo? What was the day-to-day like for the Saiyan populace, especially the non-warriors? What's lunch time with the Frieza Force look like both before Namek and during Super? What's Merus, Jaco, and the rest of the Galactic Patrol doing on their days off? Tell me about farming in Namek and their lives. Give me an episode of Yajirobe and Korin playing a board game with the same intensity as any major fight of the franchise.

Hell give me a series entirely devoted to just the world itself and its general populace. It's a fascinating world where dinosaurs and animal people are part and parcel totally accepted parts of society and the world, shit's awesome. Capsule Tech is the most insane shit to us but kinda gets downplayed, how's the average person using it? How expensive is it? There's regular cars alongside hover cars and personal flying ships. People KNOW some shit has gone down because the Cell Games were televised and surely there's been some people that have slipped through the cracks of the resurrections and putting the world back right. If noted buffoons getting by almost entirely on being rich Red Ribbon Army can put some stuff together surely there's some dude out there Pepe Silvia-ing about these mysterious explosions and earthquakes and storms that appear with golden lights in the distance. Bulma's figured out space flight, interstellar travel, and time travel and it's been shown that there are nearly as equally well funded and intelligent people out there, nobody else has? There are multiple ways done by entirely separate people and organizations to just straight up create multiple kinds of sentient beings just on Earth, let's see some news stories about that huh?

"Zeff... Zeff... You e mentioned that name quite a lot now.... Wait. You don't mean Red-leg Zeff, do you?"

"Um, yeah? But I don't know what the hell you're on ab—"

"Scarlett Spritz, the little bitch!"

"E-excuse me??"

"Scarlett Spritz! She's that old fart of yours, the one you call Red-Leg!"

"......fucking what now?"

"Ugh, jeez, I have to spell it out to you. Okay look. Your dad, Red-Leg Zeff, used to be a well known drag queen named Scarlett Spritz. Why I even looked up to her! She inspired my look today, you know. Too bad she left the heels behind. Disappeared without a word. I always wonder what happened to the poor girl. She isn't doing drag anymore is she?"

Meanwhile Sanji is short circuiting as Iva drones on and on about the whole year that they were friends, even running off to dig out an old photo of Zeff dressed as his alleged drag identity.

I love Conan, and I love tribal themes so after 1000+ hours of Conan exiles, I had to make some Darfari inspired gear and body paints. More later!

Scott and I both have a deep love for open world survival games, such as ARK, Conan Exiles, and Valheim, and we also share a passion for table top RPGs. We decided to combine the two a few years back, and A Song for the Lost is the result! It's not quite finished yet, but it's in a suitably playable state and we're hoping for playtesters and detailed reviews.

The core dice system is quite simple - it's built on the Breathless system by Fari RPGs. However, there's a great deal of additional content: management of a Refuge of survivors from a skyship crash, resource management, crafting, taming creatures, and random generators for both environments and creatures. It's a paperwork-heavy game, inspired by Band of Blades - a Forged in the Dark RPG by Evil Hat Productions. I like to think that it rides the line between being a "crunchy" classic RPG and the more modern, rules-lite style.
