Started watching this one on a whim and the first thing I see is Khleo Thomas.

Which is very telling because it displays how they view something like antiblack racism. They don't view it as a valid observation or experience. There is never any point to which they will go "this Black person experienced racism" right? Because it's a prejudice they view as valid or innocuous. Because they often participate in behavior they don't want villianized or ostracized.

And the second they think they can posit themselves as a victim in the most spectacularly prejudiced fashion? They will do it.

This is the guy I'm basing this post off of. But there are many like him.

And they're why for the life of me, I could not reblog a nuanced post on the castings.

Maybe in time I will look back and view that as failing. But right now I just can't.

Speaking of, I have mixed to negative feelings about her sharing aspects of someone else's life. Especially as far as something like addiction. While I'm sure Rosie means well or isn't being malicious, that person is no longer here to speak for themselves.

When it comes to that stuff, I much prefer the person experiencing it sharing it on their own.

Similar with Aaliyah. She experienced all these things and people love to talk about her. But I would've prized her opinion on her life above all others and it sucks that can't be.

Just, there's all these salacious headlines now about someone who was fairly private from what I've seen. And that's hardly Rosie's fault. But why give the tabloids ammo, you know what I mean?

I-- I gotta see a budget breakdown.

I'm sure a considerable amount went to The Rock, animating that darn crab, and maybe Te Fiti right?

But the 250 million dollar budget being absent from such an immensely vibrant and mobile scene?

Sigh.

I'm doing something for a loved one and I'm looking at reviews. And people are mad that something is 62GB and not the advertised 64GB. But it's like that for anything you buy in that sector.

You never get the entirety of free space. Just roughly 98%. That's not a mark against the product or the company. They didn't scam you. It just how it works.

Yet and still. Am I going to have to wade through dozens of reviews complaining about this so I make sure I get a fuller picture of something? Yes.
