Idk who needs to hear this but bisexuality includes trans people. Not "it can" include trans people or it "sometimes" includes trans people. It does. It always has. Any bisexual who says there's doesn't is just a transphobe and doesn't fucking represent what we're about.
Covid is not over and black lives still matter. Stop trying to "go back to normal" when shit is still happening.
Stop going on trips and going to restaurants without masks.
Keep educating yourself and protesting and calling and donating and signing petitions.
Wear a mask. End white supremacy. Defund police.
I know it's tiring but it's not over for either thing even though people are pretending it is. I know the overlap is exhausting. But be safe, social distance, and keep fighting the good fight.

some parents will really be like:Ā āi am going to make a joke that directly references my childās insecurities, and worse, i am going to do it in public to other people, therefore exposing those insecurities to othersā and then turn around and be likeĀ āhayden doesnāt really talk to me anymore. theyāre so angry all the time and i donāt know why. i am perfect. this is bc of social media.ā

If you are bi/pan/omni or anything on the multisexual spectrum; you don't need to prove your sexuality by dating as many people as you can or dating as many people of different genders as you can. You don't need to have some historical proof of past lovers to prove your sexuality to people or to be able to identify as m-spec, really all you have to do is say 'im bi/pan/poly/omni,' and then you are and if someone doesn't believe you then that is their problem not yours.
Concept: an apocalyptic or post apocalyptic tv show centred on a group of disabled protagonists
Must include:
-enough details about how they survive that no one can call itĀ āunrealisticā
-mental and physical disabilitiesĀ
-a character who isnāt necessarily contributing to the survival of the group, but is not abandoned or looked down upon
-at least one character whose disability is actually less of a problem for them now that the world is ending/ended (example: autistic character who used to be constantly overstimulated but no longer is)
Optional features:
-abled person saysĀ āthe only disability in life is a bad attitudeā and gets told where to stuff it
-creatively weaponized mobility aids/assistive devices
-character who abled people think isnāt worth helping because of their disability, but actually has at least one skill essential to the survival of the group
-every time an abled person says something ignorant, all present disabled people look into the camera like theyāre on the officeĀ
- character who only survived the initial apocalyptic event because they had an assistive device Ā which just so happened in that one circumstance to give them an advantage over everyone else
-the abled camp wearing rags and eating meat on sticks cooked over a crude fire. pans over to our heroes and they have perfect clothes, a variety of food and also music.
āwhat? how did you do that?ā āwell, janeās special interest is the medieval production of cloth and, like 8 of us can sew. Turns out those of us who canāt go out much develop a LOT of hobbies.ā
A character who scares everyone when a zombie bites them but literally every one of their limbs are amputated.
āTheyā¦. they bit Gina.ā
*Gina pulls of prosthetic arm* āItās ok guys! They just got my decoy.ā
(vibrates at the speed of sound)Ā
I love this a normal amount
Defying Doomsday is an anthology of apocalypse fiction featuring disabled and chronically ill protagonists, proving itās not always the āfittestā who survive ā itās the most tenacious, stubborn, enduring and innovative characters who have the best chance of adapting when everything is lost. In stories of fear, hope and survival, this anthology gives new perspectives on the end of the world, from authors Corinne Duyvis, Janet Edwards, Seanan McGuire, Tansy Rayner Roberts, Stephanie Gunn, Elinor Caiman Sands, Rivqa Rafael, Bogi TakĆ”cs, John Chu, Maree Kimberley, Octavia Cade, Lauren E Mitchell, Thoraiya Dyer, Samantha Rich, and K L Evangelista.
*reblogs this version again in case you havenāt seen it*
no but dead ass if you are considering buying a copy of midnight sun also consider donating to the quileute nation in an equal if not greater amount than the price of the book
it helps me to have a link so that I actually do these things, so:
https://mthg.org/about/
Quileute Move To Higher Ground project! The current tribal school (plus several other facilities) are in a high-risk area and theyāre trying to relocate them.
I have no interest in reading Midnight Sun.
Hereās their PayPal to help move their school out of a tsunami zone.
Iām never gonna buy that book but I WILL donate to the Quileute Nation.
Hey all, I wrote this remix of one of my favourite old songs by The Doobie Brothers to help get me through my quarantine. Thought I would share in case it might help some of you too.

me halfway through shaving my legs: I donāt want to do this anymore
Sometimes having mental illness is like living paycheck to paycheck but with your brain
Oh my fucking god this is the truest thing I have ever read in my life
I once tried explaining that when I do ābig thingsā itās like taking out a payday loan and Iām paying āinterestā (in energy and pain) afterward, which often made āpayingā for normal daily activities more difficult to impossible.
When you have those weekends when you just seem to get everything done?
It's like when you have a Three Paycheck month so you can use that third check to take care of the things you've been putting off.
y'all are brilliant
This is ridiculously accurate, especially the three-paycheck-month analogy.
Because it usually only happens once or twice a goddamn YEAR.
SOMEONE PUT IT INTO WORDS
