Didn't think i'd come across this today but wow, how pinpoint accurate... I've been struggling a bit, lapsed back into old habits, sexually satiating ones to be transparent and they've been more detrimental to me than good. I think it's the familiarity and crave seeking that makes it hard to escape being what I run to when things are rough but I don't want to hurt myself more knowing it's harmful to me. It used to be the word or praying or something besides that. I know faith isn't big for some people or maybe you don't get it but this is something I've struggled with and had many traumas over my whole life. No like harm or shade to the writers or anything. I adore y'all and know the "read at your own risk" warnings and things happen but there's some sense of community tumblr has given me.. I will read them (other works) ofc but if things are heavy smut or solely smut related please just give me a like slap on the wrist of something. I don't expect it to happen overnight but i also don't want to let myself take the easy way out. I want to choose me and will but I can admit help is needed. I cant keep running to it as a solution or coping mechanism when it further harms me or pushes me into a shame/negative/addictive cycle. I am starting therapy soon and that's something I'll mention and work on. I know this is fully my responsibility but I still want to enjoy reading without jeopardizing myself or progress. I am still vm a bookworm romantic at heart but I deserve a healthy mind and heart and really hope for one. Just a small step but a big one..

Before the war, my family and I lived in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood of Gaza City. Our life was simple but full of meaning. I lived with my parents, my brother, and my sister in a home filled with love and laughter.
Every morning, my father and mother would wake up early to go to work, while my sister prepared for school. We had our normal daily routines, shared meals together, celebrated birthdays, and dreamed of the future.
It wasn’t a rich life, but it was ours. We had our house, a small piece of farmland, good neighbors, and beautiful land around us that gave us a sense of peace and belonging. My mother, father, and sister were always part of this daily rhythm, making our life feel ordinary yet full of warmth and stability.
Every Thursday, our whole family would gather at my grandmother’s house laughter, stories, and meals together. That special time brought us closer and filled our hearts with joy. Now, all of that is gone.

The Day Everything Changed
During the first week of the war, the bombing forced us to leave our home. We thought it would be temporary, but then came the news that broke us: our home was completely destroyed. Flattened to the ground. Everything we worked for and saved, every memory, gone in a moment.Since then, we have been displaced multiple times from Shuja'iyya to Rimal, then Al-Zawada, and finally Rafah. Each time we carried less with us. We’ve slept on floors, in schools, and even tents. Nights are freezing, days are unbearably hot. There is no clean water, no electricity, no toilets. We wait hours just for bread. We lost not only our home but also our jobs, our stability, and our sense of safety. Right now, our only dream is to survive tomorrow.
Why I Am Asking for Your Help
I am starting this campaign to support my family because the war destroyed everything we had our home, our land, our routines, and our sense of safety. Your help will allow us to rebuild our lives step by step.
and we are raising $20,000 to help my family survive and rebuild after the war. This amount will allow us to:
1-Rebuilding our home and farmland: Our house was completely destroyed, along with our small piece of farmland. These were not just buildings or land they were the heart of our daily life, where we felt safe and connected to our surroundings. We need help to repair and rebuild a stable home and restore the land that provided us with peace and sustenance.
2-Restoring our daily life and happiness: Before the war, we had routines and small joys working in the fields, sharing meals, celebrating birthdays, and seeing our neighbors regularly. Every Thursday, our family gathered at my grandmother’s house. Those ordinary days brought us happiness and a sense of belonging. We want to bring back some of that normal life.
3-Support for work and livelihoods: The war took away our jobs and sources of income. My parents, who used to work hard to provide for the family, can no longer earn a living safely. Donations will help us cover essential expenses and start rebuilding work opportunities so we can support ourselves again.
4-Food, clean water, and urgent health needs: Life now is a struggle for basic necessities. Your donation helps us access proper food, clean water, and medicine for urgent health needs.

Some of you may already know me from my previous fundraiser on GoFundMe. I want to explain honestly what happened: I closed that campaign myself because receiving the money there was very difficult. Their strict policies only allowed transfers in one currency (USD), which made it hard for many people who wanted to support us in other currencies. Some donations could not even reach us, and part of the money had to be returned to the donors.
That’s why I decided to move my campaign here to chuffed.org. This platform is much better for our situation because it allows people to donate in different currencies (USD, EUR, and more). This way, support can truly reach us without these problems.

A lil Speed and Love Review of sorts...
Funnily enough, not so funny after all..I had a breakdown like mid drama watch. If you're wondering the drama, it was Speed and Love and for the love of all I cannot remember which episode it was- BUT Jin Zhao was taking care of Mu and said the likes of something like, "I'll make sure you never have to worry about" so and so or like "i'll never do" so and so..basically, she would want for nothing and he would do it happily, gladly, easily. Look, i'm sorry I can't remember the exact words but I do remember the hitch in my breath when he said it so seamlessly to her. It just flowed like water, without a thought of restraint and WE KNOW HOW MUCH HE HOLDS BACK. As intentional as he is, it was almost involuntary, like blood flowing through our veins. He said it as if it was a sacred vow deeply embedded in his being, like was never a choice but pouring of his undying will to her. Without hesitation, without jerking but as deliberate and somehow eased as breathing.
Gazes that seep warmth into your skin, faint crackles of electricity building between between the 3 centimeters of space between their faces and wonder "will they , wont they?" and he'd be on his knees if he could. Between placing house shoes down for her feet to slide into after letting her down from his back, walking up grueling flights of stares to comforting her when her period struck, cooking for her and forcing her to grow out of her picky diet so she could actually be healthy and so much more. We're watching every fiber of his being slowly puddle at her whim. Yes, he his a solidified front man soldier in the yearning wars, but what a beautiful delight it is to see absolute collapsing of walls and motives and "I can't"s at the utter of his woman, whisper or gaze. If she asked him to build wells in a dessert and move mountains to the skies- HE WOULD. HE KEPT A KRYPTIC LOCKET INSCRIBED WITH THE MEANING OF THEIR NAMES FOR 9 YEARS and put "LONGING FROM DUSK TILL DAWN", are you joking me???? Every minute, every hour and HE HAS STATED THIS utterly enamored and consumed by her. We can see every emotion and thought radiating form his body, he cannot hide from her and to see him bare himself slowly, as if its his purpose, as if its his pleasure to fully be with her is changing my brain chemistry. Faux reluctance before inevitably and cherishingly caving into Mu has made this bumpy but enrapturing slow burn etch itself in my brain.
To see how effortlessly he loves Mu with force if needed but always with ease and he would not be anywhere else. Not necessarily deeming her an idol but to watch his devotion warms me.
I've had many troubles and joys within the romance department and I've come to notice quite a few things about myself I need to work on and AM AND WILL. But I know having the support of friends or your person, especially if they love you fully and deeply and healthily makes all the difference. It may definitely be uncomfortable if you are not used to it but I hope and pray to be able to love someone as easy as breathing air- without a show or mask or effort needing to be put in for them to be worthy of any of it and I desperately pray the same for myself and that we'll cherish one another. I desperately pray that I can begin to do that for myself so that I may love as easy as breathing, as fierce an protecting and serving as I desire to towards others. I truly wish this for myself and for many.
I've watched other dramas and always find the MLs that consecrate themselves in my mind. They're not robust or rambunctious about their love and adoration all the time- they're often quiet and deliberate and domestic and weaving into one anothers lives, not consuming although they inevitably do. Maybe its the way it came about instead of the location because I don't need a screaming of "I love you" as much as I love a good angry, pure, sincere confession.. It is the consistent and quiet dependence and reliance and "hey, I saw this and thought of you" that builds as the relationship deepens. I've come to appreciate actions as much as I adore words because they speak volumes but showing you have intentionally carved and created the space to bring them to fruition takes me to a whole other realm. "He loved her to invention" they say lol, he loved her with intention that bore itself to fruition. From Amidst A Snowstorm of Love to Love 020, I've noticed this.
Yesss some dramas are funny haha and just downright swoonworthy but you still can receive more than that from them. Grateful this was a major takeaway from Speed and Love and I hope to find many more treasures.
