anyway thanks for the support <3 it’s genuinely what keeps me going
Pre–Boyfriend texts with ִֶָ. ..𓂃 ࣪ ִֶָ Fushiguro Megumi ་༘࿐

sorry for my absence the voices are getting to me ik this is lowkey ass don’t hate me i’m trying my best <\\3
.⋆𐔌՞. Itadori Yuuji .՞𐦯⋆. and his habit of hugging you from behind
— short fluff
It all started as soon as he got comfortable enough to deliberately touch you without needing to be so careful about it. At first he’d try reaching out for you the way one would reach for something precious — slow, hesitant. You’d just observe the way his hands would hover over your skin ever so lightly, his eyes lingering on yours as if asking for permission. He’d look at you with those warm brown eyes of his, so tenderly it made you feel all fuzzy inside.
Noticing you’d always let him, he was no longer so unsure about it. He wanted to feel you close — at all times. His hands would absentmindedly find their way to your waist while in public, if you sat close together, his shoulder would always brush against yours. At home, even if the couch was big enough for you two to sit separately, Yuji would still somehow end up pressed against your side, his arm hooked around yours while his fingers absentmindedly played with your hand.
Whenever he came home and found you there, he’d immediately wrap his arms around your waist from behind before you could even greet him properly, resting his head on your shoulder like that was where he belonged.
“Hi,” his voice came out soft, a hint tired. As you looked over your shoulder you noticed the faint smile tugging at his lips.
“Hey, how was your day?” you asked, looking back down at the vegetables half cut in front of you.
“It was okay…” he nuzzled his nose into the crook of your neck, kissing the warm skin beneath him.
“Better because you’re here.”
His arms wrapped around your waist tighter, pulling you closer.
“Yuji… I’m making dinner,” you let out a soft chuckle as you tried getting away, though his arms only tightened around you.
“It can wait…” he placed his chin on your shoulder, his voice tender. “Just five minutes and I’ll help you after, yeah?”
You sighed, yet couldn’t say no — not when he was looking at you the way he was. His big doe eyes pleading for just some of your time.
“Fine.”
You turned around, only for him to immediately press you softly against the counter. His hands cupped your face while he covered it in god knows how many kisses, all while you laughed and tried pushing him away.
“I’m sorry! I just missed you too much,” he said, overwhelming you with kisses.
It had become a habit now, that every time he came home late, you barely even had time to notice before he was already hugging you from behind. Because every time he came home, the first thing he searched for was you.

ngl I feel like realistically Megumi wouldn’t fully allow himself to be in a relationship. I think he struggles a lot with self-deprecating tendencies and feeling undeserving of normal things because of the life he lives.
and if he were to fall in love with someone — especially a non-sorcerer, I honestly think he’d become avoidant on purpose, just to keep himself from getting too attached. not because he doesn’t care but because he’d care too much and end up hurting
or maybe if he did try I can see him wanting to not label things to avoid commitment and emotional dependency, but it probably wouldn’t end well anyway. which is kinda why I wrote the situationship dynamic for him <//3
edit: I do want to emphasize that I believe Megumi IS deeply caring and loving, just in a quieter way. but because of the way he was raised, I think he’d struggle to fully come to terms with his own emotions, making it harder for him to express them properly or commit without fear
still, I think if he truly fell deeply in love with someone, he’d eventually become too attached to let them go, even if part of him believes he should
boyfriend texts with choso smauuuu? or should i do yuji? ohh decisions decisions
In which ִֶָ. ..𓂃 ࣪ ִֶָ Fushiguro Megumi ་༘࿐ , accidentally falls in love with you, and a life he can’t have.
— bittersweet/angst (pt.2) situationship!megumi —> pt. 1
It had been two weeks since you last saw Megumi, the absence felt real — too damn loud. You didn’t mean to, but considering it had become a routine, you got used to his presence, every week, for the past eight months.
You waited for him at the bus stop, heart beating slightly faster than usual, feet tapping anxiously against the pavement. Since you had texted him you wondered endlessly what he so desperately feared, what was so bad that he wouldn’t just tell you. But still, you promised not to push.
The moment you saw him getting off the bus a bright smile instantly met your face — that same smile that inevitably warmed his chest. He came up to you, gaze low, ashamed to meet your eyes properly.
“Hey,” he uttered, a soft smile tugging at his lips the moment he saw yours, his green eyes softening at the sight.
“Hi.”
You were fighting the urge to wrap your arms around him and pull him into a tight hug, but you stopped yourself, arms resting awkwardly at your sides.
Somehow, as if he could read your mind — he pulled you close. One arm wrapping around your shoulder as the other held the back of your head close to his chest. A little abrupt yet gentle.
The moment had absolutely caught you off guard. For some seconds no words would come out, your arms pressed against his chest, eyes wide in surprise. You could even hear the rapid thumping of his heart against his chest.
Still, it didn’t take long before you wrapped your arms around him, settling into the warmth and comfort of the embrace.
It was unexpected — hell, even to him it was. There was something about you that made him act in ways he never allowed himself. Being this close to someone seemed forbidden to him. Wanting someone felt wrong. Yet ever since he met you, it was all he ever yearned for.
He’d find himself looking forward to seeing you every week too, buying movie tickets in advance and making sure to keep them safe until he could see you. Getting you small details from Tokyo you didn’t even ask for yet always appreciated.
And he felt sickeningly selfish. For wanting something he knew he couldn’t have — at least not as long as he wanted to.
As usual you spent the whole afternoon together. Walking downtown, his pace a little faster than yours yet he’d make sure to slow down from time to time to match yours. This time you took him to a record store, going through all the vinyls, you rambling about your favorite albums and him listening intently. Even if you didn’t notice it, his eyes lit up at every word you said. Your voice was music to his ears.
“I don’t even have a record player but someday I will,” you chuckled, taking one into your hands.
“I’m sure you will,” he nodded, a soft smile resting at his lips.
You went to the movies together, you had already lost count how many times you’ve been there. He always stole handfuls of your popcorn without asking, pretending not to notice whenever you looked at him. It didn’t really matter which movie you were watching, as long as you sat next to each other the comforting company was enough. Enough for him to forget his actual life. Because beneath it all, he knew this was only a fever dream.
He knew, every time he’d come back to Tokyo, that it was only a matter of time before he had to stop. It was unfair, awfully unfair. But the contrast between you and his life was too overwhelming to ignore, and as much as he wanted to do so, he couldn’t just pull you into this mess — the mess he was.
Yet still, he was sitting right beside you at the beach. Sand clung to the sleeve of his hoodie as he rested his arms behind him.
Captivated by the way your hair swayed with the cold night breeze, signaling that it was almost time for him to leave.
“You’re quiet…” you whispered, your eyes drifting to his side, his gaze lost to the waves in front of you now. “more than usual I mean.”
He didn’t say anything for a few seconds. Instead, his gaze dropped to the sand. He sat with his knees drawn close to his chest. The distant sound of waves and muffled laughter from further down the beach filled the silence between you.
Then, his gaze met yours, but this time it was different. Quiet, melancholic, as if they hid a burden to carry the whole world in his hands. His green eyes didn’t shine as bright as they usually do, as if the light had faded.
He sighed profoundly. His eyes lingering on your features as you laid on the sand, you quietly stared at each other. He wanted to memorize you.
“What?” you chuckled, heat creeping up your cheeks. “Is there something on my face?”
He shook his head, letting out a low chuckle, as he moved away a strand of hair from your face, the sudden movement leaving you momentarily speechless. He was different today, as if he was trying to savor every second before reality had to hit him like ice water.
And for a moment he allowed himself to be selfish, to indulge one last time in what it would be like to get what he’s always wanted, at least for once. This would be the last time.
His face dropped lower, maintaining eye contact, his hand moving to cup your cheek. You swallowed hard at the contact and the sudden closeness, and for a moment everything seemed to slow down. The waves suddenly too distant. Your breathing mingled with his, both of you steadying each other in the proximity.
He broke the distance.
His lips softly pressing against yours, at first it was gentle, slow. Like he wanted to trace your lips into memory, how soft they felt against his, how sweet they tasted. Then he deepened and quickened the pace ever so lightly, your arms instinctively wrapping around his neck, pulling him just an inch closer.
He pulled away for a moment, breath heavy as he stared at you with half-lidded eyes, gaze flickering from your dazed eyes to your plump lips.
He caressed your cheek with his thumb, tracing your bottom lip lightly to kiss it once more. The kiss deepened as his lips parted against yours, and what started gentle became consuming as he found himself unable to pull away. The sound of the waves intertwining with the sounds of your desperate kiss.
You had kissed before, once, you taking the first step. In that moment you had caught him off guard but not even a second later he was already pulling you close to him, kissing you like he’s been hungry for it. Yet after that, he told you not to take it serious, it was just the moment. A moment exactly like this, almost too late to think properly. But ever since it happened neither of you ever stopped thinking about it.
And you didn’t push for more, you didn’t ask for more.
He distanced himself, sitting back up, breathing heavy as he stared ahead. Neither of you said anything as you caught your breath. Yet the silence didn’t last long as the guilt tugged at his chest longer than he could bear.
“I did mean what I said,” he turned his head away from you, voice dropping low.
“Mhm? What do you mean?” you asked, propping yourself back up to your elbows.
“About not being able to see you anymore.”
Your heart dropped to your lungs. But so did his. He couldn’t even look you in the eye, especially not after doing what he did.
“Are you serious?” you asked again, sitting straight up, trying to find his gaze.
He nodded, staying quiet for a second before speaking up again. “I didn’t mean for this to happen,” he exhaled heavy.
Truth be told he didn’t even know what to tell you, how to even look at you. He knew how unfair it was.
He thought this pain would only be momentary, you would surely get over him. Since you weren’t really anything, and you deserved someone who could stay, who could be with you like any normal person would. Even if it hurt, even if he wanted so desperately to be that someone.
“It’s better this way,” he spoke his voice threatening to break as his gaze dropped.
You stayed quiet. Too quiet. You felt a lump forming in your throat, feeling helpless as you couldn’t bring yourself to speak. You just stared down at the sand beneath your feet.
But no, you didn’t want to just accept this.
“Why? Really— why?” your voice raised.
“I told you I can’t explain.”
“No— I don’t see how that’s fair,” you shook your head frantically in denial.
“Nothing in this world is, that’s the way things are,” he said coldly. “I would rather you hate me now.”
You frowned, completely in disbelief at his words. How self deprecating he seemed, how devastated and utterly defeated he looked.
“I would never.”
He let out a heavy sigh, his head turning to face you yet his eyes wouldn’t meet yours.
“I’m leaving.”
He was about to get up, but you stopped him, grabbing his forearm before he could fully stand up.
“Please don’t…”
The way your voice came so broken, tore something inside him. He didn’t want to hurt you, but from the very beginning, he knew this was a ticking bomb waiting to go off.
Oh but you were making it so hard.
He struggled to understand what was it about him that you liked so much, he couldn’t see himself the way you saw him. Not in a million years would he ever believe he was deserving of you.
He placed his hand over yours, caressing it lightly before dropping your hand away from his arm.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, his throat tightened around the words. He stood up, turning away from you. “Please get home safe.” You heard his footsteps against the sand slowly fading away.
That was the last thing he ever said to you. the last time you ever heard his voice. You did hurt, for months. Long awful months as you kept remembering every little thing, going to the movies together, now you didn’t want to go, knowing you’d be alone. The beach seemed utterly big and lonely for you.
It was real — you felt it, so deeply in your bones even if only for a couple months. And to him it would always be a connection he would always look back on bittersweetly. You were too real for him. You represented a life he couldn’t have, and could never allow himself to enjoy.
After all, he was cursed with the burden of sacrificing his life for people too ordinary to even understand the world he lived in. Including you.
After that he kept seeing you, far enough for you to not see him, but close enough for him to notice how you’ve changed throughout the months. How slowly, and surely, despite the pain you were in when he left, the light slowly returned to you.
What he couldn’t see is that even though that was true, you could never forget him. And you never would. Months later you still kept your movie tickets.

lowkey been practicing writing more but my smaus steal all the attention <\\3
In which ִֶָ. ..𓂃 ࣪ ִֶָ Fushiguro Megumi ་༘࿐ , accidentally falls in love with you, and a life he can’t have.
— bittersweet/angst + smau (pt. 1) situationship!megumi —> pt. 2
Megumi wasn’t sure what he was doing, all he knew is that ever since he met you, he couldn’t imagine a day of his life without you in it. And it scared him to death.
You weren’t a sorcerer, you were just a regular person, going to school and doing what you were supposed to, unbeknownst to the horrors he had to face. Your normalcy was what captivated him the most, in a way he wanted that for him — for his friends. but he could only live the fantasy vicariously through you.
It wasn’t supposed to happen — not really. But you two met, waiting at the same bus stop a few months ago. Not in a million years would you have imagined coming up to talk to anyone first but there was something about him that made you do it. Perhaps it was the way he seemed to carry himself — distant as if his mind was completely submerged in a world of his own. That and of course, he was undeniably good-looking.
You tried to find an excuse to approach him, truly it seemed like there was none, and he didn’t seem exactly like the type of person to greet you with a warm smile if you approached him.
Oh but you were wrong.
The moment you so carefully tapped his shoulder — he was starstruck. There was a warmth and beauty to you that seemed so simple yet so captivating. If it had been anyone else he would’ve quickly given them a death stare, but not to you. How could he? You had the sweetest eyes he had ever seen. His eyebrows raised ever so slightly, his green eyes glistening lightly.
“I’m sorry, I was just curious,” you paused, unsure as you tried reading his expression, yet it remained unreadable. “Are you from here? I don’t think I’ve seen you.”
He shook his head. He was there only for a mission, but he couldn’t tell you that.
“Just visiting.” Simple, his gaze remained locked down on you — carefully noticing your soft features.
You nodded, seeing the way his eyes didn’t leave yours. Your gaze dropped under the weight of his attention, suddenly tense at the way his gaze seemed to linger on you.
“Do you live here?” He asked, his tone flat as he turned to look ahead.
“Yeah, close to the beach.”
You two talked for a few more minutes until the bus came. You were heading to different stops, as you were about to visit a friend of yours and he was going back to the center of Tokyo.
That was it, you wouldn’t see each other again. At least that’s what you thought at first. But it didn’t take long for you to find him again.
Truthfully he hadn’t planned on it, yet you wouldn’t leave his mind. He had to know what was it about you that had left such an impression on him. Maybe it was the fact that he hadn’t met many people outside Jujutsu High, and the way you carried yourself seemed oddly refreshing. What it was exactly he wasn’t sure, but he wanted to find out.
This time you were passing by the bus stop you first met him, and there he was. His hands rested in his pockets, his expression calm, as he walked over to you.
“Hey,” you so sweetly said. Even your voice carried a gentleness to it that seemed to disarm his usual cold facade. “Came to visit again?”
He was about to say yes, really, he had already made up his mind to tell you a whole story about who he was supposedly visiting. But in that moment he couldn’t bear the idea of lying to you.
“Who am I kidding…” he murmured to himself, his eyes shutting for a moment before speaking clearer.
“No. I came here to see you.”
Your eyes widened, too stunned to speak for a few seconds. Seconds that felt unbearably long for him.
“Huh? Me?” You pointed at yourself, clearly in disbelief.
He nodded, already regretting having been so straightforward. “I thought it’d be good to know someone from around here,” he tried sounding as convincing as possible but the way his eyes drifted said otherwise.
“I thought you already knew someone from here,” you said rising an eyebrow.
“I do—“ he cut himself. “I don’t.”
He let out a heavy sigh, shutting his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose between his fingers. I should’ve thought this more through, he thought.
You were amused by how frustrated he seemed, unable to properly explain himself. He finally snapped back, gazing down at you again.
“Actually I don’t, first time I was here I just so happened to be here, okay?”
You nodded slowly, trying your best to understand the dark haired guy.
“It seems nice here… quiet,” he paused. “So if it’s not too much inconvenience could you show me around?” He asked, but as he did his gaze lowered along with his voice. “If not—“
“Sure,” you said simply. “What’s your name?”
His heart stopped for a moment, already convinced you’d say no, especially considering how unsure and probably weird he was coming off.
“Fushiguro. Fushiguro Megumi,” he said as he proceeded to ask for yours.
From then on, he would visit at least once a week, and every time you’d spent the late afternoons together. You lived in a quiet peaceful town, everything seemed so lively yet comfortingly still. You showed him where you worked — a small coffee shop beside a theater, where you two would start going every week to watch the latest movie.
It had become a tradition. And slowly, you two started growing more comfortable around each other. It was easy being around the other. Even if he didn’t talk much about himself, he seemed interested in you, only you. Always listening intently to the stories you’d gathered throughout the week.
And you were okay with that, his rather reserved personality somehow brightened up yours. Though, It didn’t take long before you started catching feelings. Maybe it was the way he sat close to you and wouldn’t move if you brushed shoulders, or the way he’d stare with a quiet concentration whenever you spoke.
Whatever it was, you’d always look forward to seeing him every week. Until one week, he didn’t come.

doing Choso Kamo’s <𝟑 .ᐟ eyeliner while sitting on his lap
— fluff and a very mesmerized choso
Sitting in front of the mirror, you shifted closer to it, focusing as best as you could to do your eyeliner — a thin black line right at the corner of your eye. Choso watched behind you, absentmindedly focusing on the way you so carefully guided your hand to get both lines to be as symmetrical as possible.
At first you didn’t notice his focused stare, too busy as you stared in the mirror, checking if both sides looked fine enough. But then you caught him, sitting at the edge of your bed right behind you.
“Want me to do your eyeliner?” You asked, briefly turning your head towards him.
He was quickly pulled back from his thoughts, fully turning his attention to you now.
“My eyeliner?” He asked, tilting his head slightly.
You hummed in response, turning your chair to face him. “You seemed pretty focused on it just now.”
He let out a soft chuckle, lowering his gaze. “Not as focused as you were.”
“It kinda requires me to be very, very careful you know… and you haven’t answered my question yet.”
He wasn’t sure if you were being serious or not, still he considered it for a few seconds because truth be told — he was genuinely curious if it would suit him or not, that and how it would feel having you be so focused close to him.
“…Sure,” he finally said, turning his gaze to you now, a little unsure.
You took your eyeliner in hand as you got up from your chair, standing in front of him.
“Look up for me.”
He tilted his head enough for you to get a better look at his hooded, sleepy eyes. A pretty dark brown that you’ve noticed every time under the bright sun.
“Is this okay?” he asked, staring up at you as you nodded in response. You grabbed his chin carefully with one hand, while the other moved to the side of his eye. The touch already making him feel warm inside.
He stayed still, almost too still. He simply watched the way your hand moved, angling it along his face. But somehow, you couldn’t quite get the right angle, and standing felt uncomfortable considering how low the bed was and how much you had to slouch.
That and the fact that he was too damn tall.
And it didn’t take long before he noticed. “Should I move?” He asked, his voice a little unsure, eyebrows furrowed with concern.
“No… but you’re definitely too far…”
“Then get closer,” he said simply.
“Hmm…” you paused, taking a step back “Actually, if you don’t mind…”
Before he could say another word, you had already sat right on his lap, your legs resting on each side of his body. He stayed still, even more so than before, his hands unsure of where to go for a moment before he placed them behind him.
“Alright this is better,” you said casually, too casually for him.
But he didn’t say a word. He just watched your pretty focused face, feeling your wrist rest against the side of his face to get the perfect angle. He felt the cool liquid against his skin for a few seconds, your touch slow and deliberate. For a moment it seemedas if he was about to blink, his eyes dropping just slightly.
“Don’t blink,” you said, shifting lightly on his lap, him instinctively holding your waist with both hands.
“I’m trying not to.”
If only you knew how difficult you were making this for him. His gaze flickered from your eyes to your lips, his mouth parting slightly.
You didn’t seem to be bothered by the closeness. But he was coming undone right under you, entranced by how gentle you were being. His breathing turned uneven as he relaxed into your touch, making you pull back for a moment.
“Are you breathing okay?” you asked, noticing the change of his breathing.
“Hmm… you’re just very close.”
“Don’t worry I’m almost done.”
Then you moved to the other eye, resting your wrist against his other side, moving your hand with the same gentleness as before.
“Alright, done,” you said as you were about to get up. But he didn’t let you.
He grabbed your hips with his firm warm hands, pushing you closer to him.
“Don’t leave…” he paused, “Don’t leave just yet,” he muttered low, looking up at you with those drowsy mesmerizing eyes you couldn’t resist.
You smiled tenderly at him, letting the eyeliner down before taking one hand to his cheek, softly caressing the cold skin underneath.
“I won’t.”
He leaned in slightly, his eyes dropping to your lips, yet he didn’t close the distance — not yet. Your lips brushed against his, gently as he felt the softness of them.
Then he moved his hand from your hip to your waist, tracing your skin lightly, the touch so feather-light it made your breath hitch.
“I’m so in love with you…” he whispered right at your lips to finally close the distance, both of you instantly sinking into the kiss.
