Example One: Heimdale knows Thor is forbade to go to Jotunheim, but because someone pulled the slip on him, he let them through anyway.

Example Two: Heimdale let Sif and The Warriors Three go to Earth saying he couldn’t open the Bifrost which conveniently opened, what by itself??

He could’ve stalled Thor from heading to Jotunheim until the guard sent by Loki got to Odin to inform him about it. He knew that Loki had sent that guard, he only needed to wait for a bit. But nope….he let both the princes of Asgard walk into a dangerous situation where they both could’ve been killed.

It’s obvious that he didn’t care about Loki (and others) dying, but he didn’t even care about the crown prince’s life.

Not to mention that he definitely knew about Loki’s Jotun origins. He who sees everything couldn’t have missed seeing Odin taking baby Loki from Jotunheim and bringing him to Asgard. He was in on it (which is pretty obvious in the way he mentioned that Loki was not dressed warmly enough for Jotunheim, alluding to him not actually needing warm clothing, because he’s Jotun).

It looks sweet, ngl, but....

I'm honestly well beyond being surprised or disappointed in their below par efforts to make any kind of sense with respect to the established canon, still... this disappointed me. Like, make it make sense. Even in his Jotun form Loki doesn't look like a regular Jotun. His markings aren't the same, his teeth aren't like them, he's definitely got nipples (she doesn't have nipples). His being smaller in size is not Jotun dwarfism; it doesn't work that way.

So what the fuck is this concept art?

At least this one shows her markings being similar to Loki's, but still...

Honouring the established canon of the original movies requires answering all these questions. There should be some kind of in-universe explanation for Loki being the way he is, physically. That concept art answers none of these questions.

While it's nice to see that Loki's mother loved(loves?) him, her concept art depiction doesn't match the established canon of the original movies.
