I’m dead serious when I say my favorite salmon dean moment is when Sam finds that horrible taxidermy animal with the costume on and holds it up for Dean to look at.

something about jensen ross ackles feeling deans feelings so deeply that he had dean take castiels coat from the river and carry it with him, that he actually got flustered and shy when he was told he had to give castiels coat back, that he changed the lines because they felt too romantic and made them somehow more romantic, that he couldn’t have dean say the i love you but said i need you instead - making it once again more romantic and paralleling purgatory, that he kept cupping cas’ face despite them repeatedly cutting it out, that he always looked at cas deeper than what was scripted, that he kept adding little touches and looks aimed at cas, that he gushed over the handprint parallel, that he actively made these acting choices bc they felt like things dean would do….  just amuses me is all.

don't worry about me when I say this but I think in a way being hunted for sport would be a relief. my nervous system would be like, wow. finally, a proportional reaction
