One of my biggest Never Gets Done Without A System™ chores is folding laundry. My hack is Just Fold Five Things. Either the pile is now 5 items shorter, or I build up the momentum to make a more significant dent, but 5 is better than zero. And if you always buy just the same damn gold toe white crew socks you never have to try and hunt for a sock's missing mate, don't even have to fold them, just pull out 5 (maybe 6 to even out that last pair) and boom, you've filled the Folding quota because socks are now in their separate grab n go drawer instead of on The Chair.
