Within the first few hours of its discovery, people on Twitter used this tool to generate an Epstein Island attraction at Disneyland, a mega-prison within Google’s headquarters, and a sequel to 9/11.

Google has already announced that they will be “rolling back” this feature because of screenshots like these:

if a building sits empty for some period of time it should lose its listed status. like. if nobody even has a use for the thing it should not take up real estate indefinitely. i guess you don't want to just incentivize someone keeping a property empty so it can be torn down. but coupled with a sensible land value tax you could ensure that a building only ever remained vacant because truly no one has a use for it.

Had my best run yet in Project Zomboid (easy mode): I lasted for about 2.5 months. I killed about 2,400 zombies and built a luxurious fortress for myself before dying to a stupid construction accident while trying to build a lookout tower. I'm very tempted to continue the game with a new character to save at least some of my progress, but I also want to honor the realism of dying to my own foolishness during an apocalypse.

Here's the base I leave behind, including: hundreds of pounds of food, dozens of guns, thousands of rounds of ammo, a generator, two cars, 200 gallons of gasoline, a small hospital's worth of medical supplies, three rescued sheep, a garden, several full bookshelves, and a mountain of drugs and alcohol.

Adjusting for the standards of 1993 Kentucky, I think my player character had a higher material standard of living than I do. But I guess that's not too hard when you can walk into any building and take whatever you want
