Suburban Ennui

Unfortunately the chicken and rice was delicious. Maybe I should attempt to write down what I did. I may want to make it again.

Also why am I cooking in this heat? So dumb.

Read a bunch of recipes for one-pot chicken thighs and rice and concocted something of my own. It’s either going to be delicious and I’ll never be able to recreate it or terrible. Either way, not a terribly ideal outcome.

I’ve been thinking about my symptoms lately as the new perimenopausal seven dwarves: Itchy, Rashy, Sleepy, Sweaty, Achy, Forgetful, and Bitchy.

The excitement never ends. After a full day of dorm room shopping, organizing and packing, I decided to take apart the small tower fan I am sending to college with the boy, clean it with a toothbrush and put it back together. I love detailing things like that. It’s so satisfying. Is there a market for people who enjoy oddly specific cleaning projects? I may clean all the other fans next. I need to pace myself. Don’t want to have too much fun at once.
