Another AMA for you all! Although the AMA is currently paused while I finish a few things for the store, I want to get everything done as quickly as possible so I can have more time to focus on the game again! Speaking of which, you may have noticed that I've been a little more absent from social media lately. I've been focusing a lot on the store and the game, and I'm really looking forward to getting the beta test out and continuing to work on it. I really want to make sure everything is working properly, after all!

I've also noticed some hostile behavior lately, and honestly, trying to work while carrying that kind of stress makes everything much harder. I don't want it to affect my writing, so I won't be interacting as much for the time being, at least until I can get my mind in a calmer place.

I also want to remind everyone that I want my mods to be able to have fun and interact in their own way. They are NOT developers and they work exclusively and voluntarily as support for the blog, so you guys can still have content while I'm busy!

On their personal blogs, they are completely free to have their own opinions, so please consider ONLY things posted on the official blog to be canon. If it's not posted here on the official blog, then it isn't canon, so don't worry!

As the creator, there are a lot of things I can't say or joke about because I don't want you all to confuse my personal thoughts or jokes with canon, and I don't want my mods to have to make that same sacrifice.

I really appreciate everyone's consideration and support. Please be kind and help the community grow into a warm and welcoming place. You never know what kind of scars other people might be hiding.

--- Mais um AMA para vocês! Embora atualmente o AMA esteja pausado enquanto finalizo algumas coisas para a loja, quero terminá-la o mais rápido possível para voltar a ter mais tempo com o jogo! Falando nisso vocês devem ter notado que estou mais ausente nas redes sociais, estou focando muito na loja e no jogo, estou ansioso para lançar o beta teste e continuar trabalhando nele, quero saber se tudo esta funcionando obviamente! Também venho notado comportamentos hostis ultimamente, e sinceramente trabalhar com estresse na mente torna tudo ainda mais difícil e não quero que isso interfira na minha escrita… então não vou interagir muito no momento até eu estar com a mente mais calma. Alias gostaria de lembra-los que, eu quero que meus mods possam se divertir e interagir do modo deles, eles NÃO são desenvolvedores e trabalham exclusivamente e voluntariamente como apoio no blog para que vocês não fiquem sem conteúdo! No blog pessoal deles, eles estão livres para ter suas próprias opinões, então levem como canônico APENAS coisas que estão no blog oficial, se não esta aqui neste blog, então não é canônico fiquem tranquilos. Eu como criador não posso dizer ou brincar com muitas coisas que eu mesmo gosto, para que vocês não confundam as coisas com conteúdo canônico, e não quero que meus mods precisem se sacrificar dessa forma também. This week flew by with so much to do! I only have one screenshot for you this week. I've adjusted all of the café dialogue and polished some of the scenes because they weren't flowing at the right pace. Some choices in this dialogue weren't working properly, so I spent some time building the scene in a way that would let me make them work without affecting the other choice haha. It's something simple, but sometimes it gets complicated to plan because everything needs to happen in a very specific order.

I still haven't reached the most interesting part of the café, but I'm sure you'll recognize it immediately when I get there!

I’ll also be making some adjustments to Doctor's sprites. He and Jester don't have many images, so scenes involving them tend to be a bit more work. ---

Esta semana passou voando com tanta coisa para fazer! Só tenho uma captura de tela para você esta semana. Ajustei todos os diálogos do café e aprimorei algumas cenas porque elas não estavam fluindo no ritmo certo. Algumas opções neste diálogo não estavam funcionando corretamente, então passei algum tempo lapidando a cena de uma forma que funcionasse sem afetar outras opções, haha. É algo simples, mas às vezes fica complicado planejar porque tudo precisa acontecer em uma ordem muito específica.

Ainda não cheguei à parte mais interessante do café, mas tenho certeza que vocês vão reconhecer de cara quando eu chegar lá!

Também farei alguns ajustes nos sprites do Doutor. Ele e Jester não têm muitas imagens, então cenas envolvendo eles geralmente dão mais trabalho.

This week I made some good progress with programming the dialogue, so next I'll start figuring out which new assets need to be created. There are already at least two new pieces of artwork that need to be added to this dialogue, along with some background changes.

Once I finish this part, I'll move on to one of my favorite scenes from this update! I won't say too much about it yet, but if everything goes well, I'll have some screenshots with dialogue to show you next week that I think you'll find pretty interesting! Especially because of where the scene starts. I'm almost certain this part will require some new sprites as well, but we'll see!

Even though the screenshots show some of the dialogue, there may be small changes once the entire scene is tested together, so don't worry too much about the rough scenes I'm showing you for now! -- Essa semana eu fiz um bom progresso com a programação dos diálogos, então a próxima parte eu começarei a decidir as artes novas que precisam ser feitas. Já tem pelo menos 2 novas artes que precisam ser adicionadas a esse diálogo, e algumas alterações de background. Terminando toda essa parte entrarei em uma das minhas favoritas dessa atualização, não vou falar muito sobre ela, mas se tudo der certo semana que vem eu trarei alguns prints com diálogos que vocês vão achar bem interessantes! Principalmente pelo local em que ele começa, estou quase certo de que essa parte vai exigir novos sprites também, mas veremos! Embora os prints mostrem alguns diálogos, quando toda a cena for testada junta pode haver leves modificações, então não se preocupem muito com as cenas brutas que estou mostrando!

Soon I plan to design the canonical circus outfit for Columbina, as well as casual outfits for the others now that you know them better! But there’s still a lot to do next week I’ll try to focus solely on the store and the game to sort out a few things!

Another week, another small section added to the update!

Everything is still very rough for now just enough for me to test whether certain scenes actually work before I fully polish them.

If you remember that huge image map full of branching paths (the one I blurred completely x3), you may have noticed that the routes expand quite a bit at certain points. That means there are a lot of scene variations!

Just like in the previous update, your choices can change not only what happens, but sometimes even the dialogue itself. Good luck, everyone!

A lot takes place in the café, and there are several variations of those scenes, so you'll probably be seeing plenty of screenshots from this location over the coming weeks!

Mais uma semana, mais uma pequena adição à atualização!

Por enquanto, tudo ainda está muito bruto, já que é apenas para eu testar se certas cenas realmente funcionam antes de poli-las completamente.

Se você se lembra daquele enorme Imagemap cheio de caminhos ramificados (aquele que desfocei completamente x3), você deve ter notado que as rotas se expandem bastante em determinados pontos. Isso significa que tem muitas variações de cena!

Assim como na atualização anterior, suas escolhas podem mudar tanto as cenas quanto algum dos diálogos. Boa sorte a todos!

Muita coisa acontece no café, e há diversas variações dessas cenas, então você provavelmente verá muitas capturas de tela deste local nas próximas semanas!
