Let me add these few points to the shit-mix, we don't even have enough special education resources for children with developmental delays or complicated medical needs, anywhere, that's a fact. The two fields that are arguably most important to children's growth and development are education and healthcare, fields where women are the majority of the workforces. Beyond the barbarity of forced pregnancy, we are going to be facing a catastrophic pediatric health crisis and an education crisis for children in the fallout from this decision that will cost billions of dollars, strain two already overworked and buckling systems and ultimately lead to an increase in pediatric death and disability rates. The widespread economic implications of half the workforce now having less rights to make their own medical decisions is setting us further back than just 50 years. Women in the "sandwich" generation are already filling the role of caretaker on both sides of the generational divide, forced pregnancy in our caregiver population has all the makings of creating a geriatric health crisis as well. If a woman now has more children to care for or dies from unsafe pregnancy termination or encounters disastrous complications from a continued pregnancy, who do we expect to be taking care of aging parents and grandparents? Whether you care about women, children, money, or the country as a whole, striking down Roe v. Wade is an unsound decision morally, financially, and ethically. No one has the right to your body but you. If you don't support body autonomy without restriction, then unfollow me.
I am unapologetic and I support abortion on demand without restriction
