Everything We Know So Far About "The Batman: Part II"
With the release of the much-awaited sequel to Matt Reeves' 2022 film now set for February 2028, speculation continues to grow as to what audiences can expect to see from The Batman: Part II. Some rumours remain unconfirmed, but here is a list of everything guaranteed to happen in the second film:
Approximate run time will be 11 hours 57 minutes.
All of that run time will be spent trying to justify its own serious, gritty, edgy tone.
Like its predecessor, the sequel will be joyless and miserable throughout.
There will be no original ideas or plotlines.
Sebastian Stan has been cast as Harvey Dent, meaning there will be a very long build up to his obvious eventual transformation into the villain Two-Face. This has been backed up by insiders who confirm that The Batman: Part II will not try to subvert audience expectations in any way.
Robert Pattinson will continue to be unconvincing and mopey in the lead role.
Barry Keoghan will reprise his previous, pointless appearance as the Joker, but it is unknown whether his presence in this film will again have absolutely no relevance to the plot.
The brightest colour seen on screen will be brown.
