unfortunately, your pride did not survive the breakup. only your desperation and one very specific piece of knowledge did.
satoru gojo is weak to exactly one thingâyour tits.
he loved them. worshipped them. he treated them like sacred artifacts.
youâve seen this man stare down curses without blinking, only to lose all cognitive function the second you leaned forward.
so when he agrees to meet for âclosure,â you dress accordingly.
your top is criminally low. borderline unethical. you check yourself in the mirror and nod once. this will either fix my relationship or embarrass myself in public.
the cafe you agreed to meet in is too bright, crowded, painfully normal. satoru is already there, slouched in his seat with sunglasses on indoors like a menace to society.
he looks up. then immediately looks down.
like heâs in some kind of trance. you smile victoriously to yourself.
ââŠwow,â he says. âyou came prepared.â
you sit across from him and lean forward just a little. âprepared for what?â
he clears his throat as he tries to avert his blue eyes. he fails though, clearing his throat again. âfor emotional manipulation,â he mutters. âspecifically the illegal kind.â
you smile sweetly. âyou said you wanted closure.â
âI meant conversation,â he says, peeling his eyes away with visible effort. âyes but whatever psychological warfare this is, it is not what Iâm here for.â
you rest your chin in your hand. âand yet, youâre still here.â
he squints at you over the rim of his glasses. âyouâre evil.â
âwhat, I thought you loved that about me.â
he sighs, rubbing a hand over his face. âgod, I hate how predictable I am.â
you brighten. âso this is working?â you ask, cupping your breasts, making them bounce. he was entranced, of course.
he groans, slumping back in his seat. âIâm trying to have a mature breakup discussion and my brain is buffering.â
you grin. âso you missed me?â you asked devilishly.
ââŠno,â he says quietly. âabsolutely not.â then he swallows hard. âyouâre doing this on purpose.â
you smile, ignoring how his adamâs apple is bobbing up and down his throat as he tries not to look down at your chest. âso⊠howâve you been?â
he stares for a long moment, jaw tight, sunglasses slowly sliding down his nose as he exhales in defeat.
ââŠfine, Iâll take you back,â he says flatly.
you blink as a smile creeps its way to your lips. âgreat! I was hoping youâd say that. I was starting to get scared that youâd at least let me beg you before you take me back.â you say cockily.
he stands abruptly, grabs his coat. âI am a simple man.â
as you walk past him, you catch him still staring.
you arch a brow. âeyes up here, toru.â
he scoffs, unapologetic. âhey. they looked at me first.â
you laugh, slipping your hand into his and kissing his cheek.
and just like that he takes you back after a very petty breakup.
he also takes you back to his apartment, âwell I could never live without you and my emotional support squishy.â he says as he buries himself between your chest.

warnings: mild angst, jealousy, overthinking, minor embarrassment, stalking/following (comedic), none sexual
synopsis: you and mitsuri follow giyuu and shinobu around because youâre convinced shinobu has feelings for giyuu and go to extreme lengths to âinvestigate.â
you sat on the porch of the butterfly mansion, knees drawn up to your chest, chewing the inside of your cheek as your mind whirled with doubt. the scene had played over and over in your head since the last hashira meetingâshinobu, standing way too close to giyuu, flashing him that mischievous smile of hers. and giyuu, being giyuu, had stood there, expressionless, barely acknowledging her.
but still⊠something about it bugged you.
mitsuri sat beside you, swinging her legs cheerfully, her bright demeanor contrasting sharply with your own. "i donât think shinobu has feelings for giyuu, you know," she said, glancing over at you with a soft smile. "she's just teasing him, like she always does."
you werenât convinced. "i donât know, mitsuri. sheâs always around him, saying stuff to get under his skin. and lately, iâve noticed sheâs been⊠extra smiley."
mitsuri giggled, brushing a strand of pink hair behind her ear. "shinobu is always smiley, though."
"yeah, but itâs different." you frowned, leaning forward. "iâve seen the way she looks at him."
"are you sure itâs not just in your head?" mitsuri asked gently, though you could see she was trying hard not to laugh. "giyuu barely notices her, anyway."
"thatâs the thing!" you threw your hands up dramatically. "he doesnât notice! thatâs why i need to make sure."
mitsuri blinked, confused. "make sure of what?"
"that shinobu has feelings for him," you said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "and i need your help to follow her and giyuu around."
"yes, exactly!" you turned to face her, determination flashing in your eyes. "weâll be subtle about it. just a little observation, thatâs all."
mitsuri gave you a sheepish smile. "i donât think weâre the subtle typeâŠ"
but you were already plotting in your head, and before she could protest further, you grabbed her hand. "come on, mitsuri, youâre the love hashira. surely you can help me out with this."
mitsuri hesitated but eventually sighed, giving in. "alright⊠but only because i think youâre worrying over nothing."
---
you and mitsuri crouched behind a large bush, peeking over at the courtyard where shinobu and giyuu stood talking. well, shinobu was talking. giyuu, as usual, looked like heâd rather be anywhere else. his eyes were half-lidded, and he was staring off into the distance as shinobu continued to tease him about something.
"see?" you whispered, nudging mitsuri. "look at her. sheâs totally flirting."
mitsuri tilted her head, squinting. "i donât know⊠i think sheâs just being friendly."
"friendly?" you scoffed. "look at the way she keeps touching his arm."
"she does that to everyone!" mitsuri insisted.
you squinted harder, trying to decipher every little movement. shinobuâs fingers brushed lightly against giyuuâs sleeve as she laughed, and your stomach dropped. was this how it started? subtle touches, small smiles, and thenâbam! sheâs in love with your boyfriend?
you couldnât let that happen.
"we need to get closer," you muttered, inching forward on your hands and knees.
"closer?!" mitsuri hissed, trying to pull you back. "weâre already too close! theyâll see us!"
"no, they wonât," you said confidently, even though you werenât entirely sure. "just trust me."
but as you moved forward, your foot caught on a branch, and you fell face-first into the dirt with a loud thud. mitsuri gasped, grabbing your arm to help you up as you scrambled to hide again, heart racing.
"what was that?" shinobuâs voice rang out, and you froze, eyes wide as you crouched lower.
giyuuâs voice followed, monotone as always. "probably nothing."
shinobu hummed in agreement, but you could feel her gaze sweeping over the area. you prayed she wouldnât come any closer. mitsuri stifled a giggle beside you, clearly amused by your dramatic fall.
"this is not funny," you whispered harshly, glaring at her.
"itâs kind of funny," she whispered back, her eyes sparkling with laughter. "youâre acting like giyuuâs going to run off with her or something."
"he might!" you hissed, glancing over at the pair again. giyuu still looked completely uninterested, his arms crossed, his face unreadable. "heâs too oblivious to notice if someoneâs into him."
mitsuri giggled softly. "you know, if you just talked to him, this would be a lot easier."
you frowned, peeking over the bush again. giyuu had already turned away, his back to shinobu as he started walking toward the mansion. you sighed in relief. at least this interaction hadnât gone anywhere suspicious.
---
later that evening, you finally confronted giyuu in his room, still slightly fuming as you crossed your arms over your chest.
"giyuu, do you even realize whatâs going on?"
he looked up from his futon, expression blank as always. "what are you talking about?"
"shinobu," you said, narrowing your eyes. "sheâs always talking to you, touching you⊠donât you think she has feelings for you?"
giyuu blinked, clearly perplexed by your accusation. "shinobu?"
"yes, shinobu," you repeated, growing more frustrated by his lack of reaction. "sheâs always teasing you."
he stared at you for a moment before sighing. "sheâs not interested in me like that. she just likes to annoy me."
"are you sure?" you asked, still not fully convinced.
giyuu sighed again, leaning back on his hands as he met your gaze. "yes. sheâs just⊠shinobu."
you bit your lip, fidgeting slightly. "but what if sheâ"
"she doesnât," he cut you off, his tone firm but calm. "and even if she did, it wouldnât matter."
"why not?" you asked, blinking in confusion.
giyuuâs gaze softened, and for a brief moment, you could see the faintest hint of a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "because iâm with you."
you stared at him, your heart skipping a beat. it wasnât often that giyuu said things so directly, and it caught you off guard. a small, embarrassed smile crept onto your face as you shifted awkwardly. "oh⊠right."
giyuu watched you for a moment longer before looking away, his usual stoic expression returning. "youâre worrying over nothing."
"i guess i am," you admitted, rubbing the back of your neck sheepishly. "sorry."
"itâs fine," he replied quietly, but there was a softness in his voice that reassured you. despite his usual aloofness, you knew he cared about you in his own quiet way.
"okay, okay," you muttered, sitting down beside him with a sigh. "no more following people around."
giyuu didnât respond, but the slightest nod of his head and the calm presence beside you told you everything you needed to know.
Headcanons: How they are/feel with you / vice versa
Of course I had to do a follow-up piece for future headcanons and scenarios should the ideas strike.

đŠ· Caine
He... wouldn't know what to do with you to say to least. Animals were completely out of his category, and to have one that's possibly more fickle and antsy than humans?? It was a challenge that he never imagined facing, but wouldn't back down from it! For the first few days, it was difficult. You'd run and hide at the sound of his voice. And whenever he just snapped you to him, you'd resort to arching your back and growling. And whenever he'd get close, you'd swat at him or his cane while making quite an ugly sound. Luckily, he couldn't get cut, but that didn't stop it from hurting. He was forced to enlist the help of his contestants, since they had more entail on your kind and how to deal with it. He didn't quite fancy the idea of being slow and quiet, so the next best thing he could offer was food to show you he meant no harm. However, even after you began to mellow out and even warm up to him, you'd still dart if he popped in unannounced or moved too fast towards you. And whenever he spoke to you, you'd either stare at him or not acknowledge him at all. It was even worse with his adventures; you'd either sit there until someone carried you, run somewhere off the path or straight up walk in the opposite direction of the portal. Because of this, he often compared you to Zooble, but with sharp fingers and teeth. You also had a habit of clawing furniture, which he could fix with a snap of his fingers, but he still found it incredibly inconvenient. Although he didn't favor your behavior he was charmed at how you played with some of the toys he'd conjure for you, getting inspired by your behavior for future adventures...
đ± You weren't a fan of him initially. He was much too loud and abrupt; constantly popping up out of nowhere, accompanied by loud sounds and bright colors. Not to mention his jarring "face" constantly being far too close in yours. It was no question that you were scared out of your wits with him around. However, you learned that he wasn't entirely malicious, especially when he suddenly made treats and food appear. However, you still wanted to keep your distance from him; he'd always try to force you out to places you weren't used to and his lack of acknowledging your personal space really made it hard for you to fully trust him. He reminded you of young humans; they never tend to realize how much harm they might inflict, and thus you decided to treat him as such; with caution but a set amount of patience.
𧔠Ragatha
She sympathized with you immensely; being trapped in a realm beyond your comprehension away from the world you've adapted to. She was aware of how sensitive cats can be to new places, and wanted nothing more than to help you readjust to your new reality. She was slow and careful with her approach, speaking softly and making herself appear as least intimidating as possible. She was the one who suggested treats to draw you out further. It took a few days, but it was incredibly worth it when you finally nudged your head against her leg on your own. After a few more days, you were comfortable enough to lay in her lap, letting her pet you or pick you up. Occasionally, she'd play with you with a few toys she convinced Caine to conjure, her favorite being the classic butterfly on a string. If you did come on adventures, she'd likely carry you a lot if you allowed it, letting you sit on her shoulders or if you went off and hid, she'd be the one to notice and look for you. If you stood behind, she'd always be happy when you padded toward her, with your tail up. Sometimes, she'd have you sleep at the foot of her bed, which would give both you and her a small sense of security. You were her small piece of reality in the whacky digital world, and she was quite grateful.
đ± You found her to be the most trustworthy of the occupants. Not only did she look familiar in appearance but she was also much more quiet and mellow than the others. She understood your pace and boundaries, and you always respected a human for grasping that. Especially during those "forced outings," where she'd soothe you and keep you safe until you got back. At times, you'd even want to spend nights with her so you wouldn't feel so alone in such a foreign place. She ultimately becomes your sanctuary, and you grew to never stray too far from her.
đPomni
While she felt immense sympathy for your entrapment, it took a bit while to get used to you; during your first few days you were a bit distant and jumpy, fleeing at just about anyone approaching or any sound nearby. However, after taking Ragatha's approach, she found you were actually quite pleasant to be around. During downtime, if she saw you, she'd always stroke your head and back, and during adventures, she'd be a second set of eyes, and would keep you safe if Ragatha was occupied. If you were to stay behind, it never failed to make her smile if you rubbed against her leg in greeting. She'd also play with you from time to time with wind-up toys, giving her a brief sense of security and taking her mind off her own predicament.
đ± You were iffy with her initially, with her overly simplified appearance and colorful outfit, but overtime, you learned to trust her just as much as Ragatha, as she showed you kindness and patience, while respecting your boundaries. She was also nice enough to engage and play with you, as well as keep you grounded if Ragatha wasn't around. You considered her to be a respectable human, though you often wondered why she was always on edge so much.
đ° Jax
He wasn't truly your biggest fan. With you being all fickle and flighty around him, he was barely even able to touch you for a few weeks. Even then, you'd hiss at him and arch your back. And due to you being an entire animal, he couldn't get back at you or even speak to you. That doesn't stop him from complaining about you to Ragatha. Even after you got used to everyone, he found you to be a bit boring at first, seeing how you mostly just laid around a lot in the circus, and made adventures a bit more difficult when you'd suddenly run off, but he swiftly learned the joys of using laser pointers on you; having you jump at others or just run around like a lunatic. However, he'd secretly melt if you brushed against your leg, and liked how you nudged his hand and purred if he petted you, though he'd never admit. One thing he thought you had going for you was the fact you didn't have the capacity to abstract...
đ± He intimidated you to say the least. His looming figure and yellow eyes made you feel uneasy for the most part. He also seemed to mistreat the others frequently, which made you distrust him further. Though, you soon learned to tolerate him, as he never exactly tried to harm you. You were still slightly on edge with him, but you allowed him to pet you from time to time. He seemed decent, but you wondered why he was so abrasive towards the others.
đ Gangle
She was heartbroken at you being trapped here, and even more so with how scared you were of just about everything there. She'd also want to he a second pillar for you to lean on. She'd take a slow approach like Ragatha, knowing her face(s) might spook you, squinting her eyes and making herself look "smaller," even going so far as to slow blink at you. Sometimes, she'd use her ribbon hands to play with you, getting all giddy when you'd bat at them, but would have to do this carefully since your claws would still hurt her. When you finally warmed up to her enough to nudge against her "arm" or face, she felt such warming giddiness, like a child. During adventures, she'd be the one to lure you out of hiding by using her ribbon hands to draw you out (even if your claws hurt if they got stuck.) she'd draw you a lot, and giggle if you decided to lay yourself across her sketchbook. Even if her comedy mask broke, you made her existence there much more lighter.
đ± You had no idea what to make of her at first. Someone entirely composed of red ribbons and a porcelain face made you quite uneasy to say the least. It took a while for you to get used to the entirely black eyes and mouth, but with how small she tried to make herself and how she'd have her eyes partially closed, you came to learn she was an ally. Her ribbon hands weren't exactly useful for petting with how small and flimsy they were, and her lap didn't have much volume, but she still radiated a comforting warmth, that you couldn't resist. However, you sensed a melancholy air around her, especially if her happy face would break. Nevertheless you still treated her like any other kind human, even if her body was mildly difficult to comprehend.
đȘ Zooble
They'd feel a resentment they never felt before. A human is one thing. But a whole a#$ animal, an especially finicky and skittish animal like a cat was now trapped in this digital hell? They wondered how anyone could have achieved this in the first place and WHY have a cat of all things be the victim. They wouldn't try to lure you out, and would in fact encourage the others to let you be for a while, being aware the fickle nature of a cat. They'd cast you pity looks if they spotted you hiding somewhere and would chastise Caine for trying to force you on his adventures, and would step in if you were particularly ruffled. Since they often stood behind on adventures, they'd be subjected to hearing your meows of anxiety being alone, which would force them to try and give you some kind of comfort. They'd use treats to get you to trust them and pet your head if you were in range, offering soft pep talk to you. Overtime, they warmed up to you. Letting you sit beside them or on their leg, even playing with you using simple string toys from time to time on the days you ditched adventures. These times they'd talk out loud to you, ranting about the circus and lamenting how you deserved better than being there. They made empty promises of how you'd all find a way out, and that they'd take you away from an owner that would even put a VR on a cat in the first place. However, a deep part of them thought your presence was also worthwhile, as it never failed to amuse them when your feline antics baffled and frustrated Caine.
đ± if Gangle's form confused you, Zooble's did more than throw you for a loop; their bright colors and mismatched body parts were difficult to comprehend and at some point, you realized their limbs would somehow be different each day. You couldn't even tell if they were an actual human. They wouldn't interact with you much in your first few weeks, but they didn't seem hostile and treated Gangle kindly. It wasn't until you were left to your own devices in the circus that they finally stepped in, offering treats that you could finally confirm your trust towards them. Over the time you spent when everyone else was gone, you'd find comfort in their grounded presence, with them sometimes playing with you, or just speaking with you in a low, calm voice. Although you didn't understand them, you can tell they were trying to calm you. Although, they did seem tense and miffed a lot, but you only chalked it up to it being the rabbit's doing.
đ Kinger
He'd forget you were an actual cat frequently and would likely have to be reminded of that fact by his peers. He'd be highly fascinated at an animal being within the digital plain and would keep close to you to watch your behavior. He'd unintentionally spook you with his floating hands, and he wouldn't understand why you were so shy of him for the first few weeks. He'd be charmed by your placid nature once you got used to things around the circus, sometimes picking you up and holding you. Sometimes he'd bring you to his pillow fort, where he found comfort in your purring. In the dark, his head would clear, which let him truly think about your fate here and lament the fact you were stuck in such a place. He'd wonder how well you and Queenie would get along together and what breed of cat you were. He'd play with you using bug themed cat toys.
đ± you were at first unsettled by his large eyes and erratic behavior, as he'd sometimes reach for you without warning and other times appear out of nowhere. But, you came to learn that he was harmless, and eventually allowed him to pet you and hold you, in which he was surprisingly gentle when handling you. But in the darker areas, he was much more lucid and brought you a sense of security in his presence. His pillow fort became your second favorite place to be, as you listened to his calming voice and soft petting. He frequently mentions someone named Queenie, and you wonder where she could be if she's as comforting as he is.
𫧠Bubble
Doesn't exactly know what to make of you; all he knew was you could be boring one minute and make things funny the next. He couldn't really get close to you, given you'd dart away or bat at him, inadvertently popping him with your claws, in which he'd sometimes pointedly hover around you, to make you chase him around, which is his way of playing with you, as well as put food down to lure you out. He found amusement in Caine's struggles with handling you. Sometimes he'd chase you as you ran to see where you'd go, forcing Caine to pop him.
đ± you weren't sure if you liked him, but you certainly didn't trust the translucent ball with sharp teeth. He was fun to chase at times and put out food for you, but he was wholly unpredictable, if you were to bat at him he'd pop, and his gnashing teeth never failed to spook you.
đ±đȘđ±đȘđ±đȘđ±đȘđ±
And done! (Still can't figure out Zooble's emoji.)
Tried to be as accurate as possible still, and of course the question remains the same; what is your depictions of cat reader?
