FIVE MILES! BEFORE I'd had enough! 😂 This is why I run alone, no trainer, no group. At 57, I know my own strengths, and I know when pushing myself beyond that to keep up with someone else's strength will cause injuries. The only time I've enjoyed running with someone else was when my daughter Bucket @queenbri_plus2 would run with me. Great running morning! SIDE PLANK FUN: BENDING my leg in side plank is a MAJOR accomplishment for me! It looks so easy when I see others not only bending their top leg, but lifting it straight up, swinging it around for wild thing and back bend poses (SERIOUSLY! 😜) I'm not there yet. NO RUNNING TODAY: My alarm sang for about an hour this morning before I shut it off at 7:30 when it was already 84 degrees.🔥😜🔥 But my weights and yoga worked. Thanks Essie @fitblvd for inspiring this a.m. kettlebell workout. I have a love/hate relationship with squats so doing squats and kettlebell together kept my mind focused on lifting. 😃 I did 3 rounds of 10 reps with my 20-lb kettlebell, which felt good on my quads so I know my knees will be happy on my treadmill run tomorrow. 👍🏾 Happy Sunday morning everyone! PERFECTLY POSITIVE? IS anyone? An IGrammer said she took down a post where someone said she was being negative. I don't know the details and introvert that I am, I refuse to waste all my energy trying to prove that no one is positive all the time. (Negative? Ok.)
