concept playlist IX; of heartaches, heartbreaks, reminiscing in memories and summer skies
list of my other playlists here
vague reminiscing and nostalgia from your memories: you've probably heard a song from a cheesy romance movie you watched as a kid, or from a cd that you've forgotten and misplaced by now. you can't remember what memory it's from, but it brings you to a simpler time and there's a part of you that misses it all.
to seeking comfort quietly and giving your melancholy self a tight hug: for the thoughts you don't want to share, where you find you don't quite fit in the world right now, where you want to disappear, to fade away for just a moment. but you're trying, you're still trying, and that's something (and i'm here for you).
travelling to a destination of sunny skies and infinite ocean blues: it's the freedom of not having anything holding you back as you have the world at your fingertips. this is the moment you come to realize that for all the bad days you have, it's given you a newfound love for all the days that are good.
learning to be okay with only half your soul: your life is made of memories, of souls sharing pieces of each other. but no one has ever told you of what happens after, when you are left with only half your soul and wishing for something you'll never get back. maybe one day you can look at your past fondly without it hurting so much.
the heartachingly splendor of a queer summer: to the summer with moments where you are freely shouting song lyrics while pretending not to care. you're enjoying them as they are, loving life as it is and having fun even with all the heart breaks and heart aches along the way
