it's funny cause writing does have tone but it's not like speaking it's the words you use and the way you write and your punctuation and formality and all those things. of course an agitated person might interpret a text in bad faith for example but text also has its own tone!!!!! i'm writing with no upper case and not a lot of punctuation and excessive exclamation points which makes me sound informal. and just like in speech, tone can be misinterpreted, culturally decided, ever evolving... but it exists

While I understand on an academic level that society treats transmasc and transfem people differently, transfeminists take it much further than just acknowledging differences or simple criticism; they weaponize those differences to the point of outright bigotry/bullying. We probably agree on many things outside of this issue but I cannot just stay silent when many of my friends have been completely ostracized by this movement and no longer feel safe in the community. Claiming the moral high ground under the guise of feminism while tearing down other queer groups isn't intersectionality! Intersectionality is a tool to understand overlapping systems of power, not something to shield treating other, in your own words, "similarly-marginalized" groups like garbage.
