im gonna be so honest i do find the Nostalgia Criticification of youtube movie reviews to be so infuriating

like can people stop adding characters and storylines to your movie reviews or whatever. if i click on a movie review i want to hear somebody talk about that movie, not have it interupted halfway through and spend 90% of the video focused on the movie reviewer and the 2 puppets who are recurring characters on his chanel going to another dimention to fight his evil shadow clone in order to save the future of all movies. i just want to watch somebody talk about the movie i like

The biggest step in feeling good about my transition was realizing I could make choices based on what would make me happy instead of just being Valid

I really resent what this broad insistence on "validity" has done to affect my steps to transition. I understand the belief that someone should not *have* to go on hormones to be valid as a trans woman and I do agree with that in part, but I really resent the way that line of thinking got to me. How I knew I was trans for more than half a decade and still haven't started a medical transition, only now realizing how much I would benefit from that. Like was telling off transmeds really worth insisting that so many girls stifle themselves for so long?
