Fun fact: I have what looks like mildly deformed fingers. My middle finger on my right hand is nearly entirely sideways to the right, my pointer on the same hand does so as well but is less obvious. My left hand is also mildly deformed in the same way with my middle facing the left, but to a lesser extent than my right..the middle on my left just kinda looks like the the leaning tower of pisa, compared to utterly broken like my right middle.

My left pointer pointer is honestly hard to tell, the middle joint and the flesh near the nail look uneven and the top portion seems to apppear slightly sideways.

Fun fact: I am the oldest, which means it was my mom’s first time raising me as a total disaster of 20 year old woman. She left me sitting on the kitchen counter one time and I fell, resulting in a place where my forehead practically busted open. I had a scar over a bump for a little more than a decade, but it totally disappeared one day. I don’t miss it.

Fun fact: apparently when i was born, the docs found necessary to put me in those neonatal incubator (idk if there is another name to that), even if i wasnt a premature baby. Anyway, they forgot me in the incubator, and my parents had to practically chase the last doc present at the hospital, which it was already leaving their shift, to take me home.

I have a small hole under my nose, it kinda looks like a piercing. I don't know if it's just there, maybe it's a big pore... either way it fills up with dead skin and oil, I have to squeeze it out every now and then or it starts to sting like someone is stabbing me with a hair

One time (I think as a young teenager?) I started choking on seaweed salad while my parents were discussing something in another room. I realized it wasn’t the same as just having something caught in my throat when I tried to inhale and literally couldn’t get any air to move past it at all. It was one of the more panic-inducing feelings I’ve experienced in my lifetime. I thumped the chair a couple of times trying to get my family’s attention and finally had to reach in and grasp a piece of seaweed like a string and pull the ball of it from my throat. I don’t know what I would have done if the piece I was holding broke or I couldn’t fit my hand in my mouth. When I went to tell my parents what happened they hadn’t heard me at all.

Tagging some people who I think would probably be able to share a disturbing thing from their life, no pressure if you’d rather not post about it though. Also, anyone who sees this who wants to participate can feel free to.

This is a given.

If the last digit is divisible by 2 (a.k.a. even), then so is the whole number.

If the sum of the digits is divisible by 3, then so is the whole number. The recursivity of this means that if the sum has multiple digits, you can add them up again until you get a single digit and see if it's 3, 6, or 9.

Like the rule for 2, but check if the last two digits are divisible by 4.

This super cute figurine is from aprox. 2900–2400 BC, and one of the handful known figurines from the British Neolithic.

The figurine got its name when it was rediscovered in 2016: “Buddo” is an Orcadian word, a term of endearment and isn’t gender-specific. In the Neolithic most human figurines represented the feminine, often believed to be the goddesses of fertility and/or beauty, so this figurine is quite unique as it doesn’t have gendered features!

There’s a hole on each side, so it’s most likely that it was suspended (inside the home or as some kind of body ornament).

Its purpose is widely argued, some beleive the figurine to be a child’s toy, but it easily could’ve been an ‘idol’ or ‘fetish’ (= meaning it had a ritualistic and religious role).
