I get preferring het ship over gay ones, that one is personal preference, but the fact that they're so adamantly against them they won't even take money for them is definitely not a preference, especially 'cause they seem to allow literally anything else OTHER than bl/gl in their commissions.

Anyway, if any queer artists/writers were thinking about joining the zine, I'd rethink that if I were you.

The idea of dragons in modern times is so fun because imagine a hot summer day on your vacay and go to use the hotel pool and staff is like "valued guests we regret to inform you that the pool area is out of service at the moment, we apologize for the inconvenience"

And people like "wtf why" looking out their hotel room window and there's this. This dragon just curled up in the pool chilling, literally, cooling itself down

Some of the staff are trying to gently shoo him away and the dragon does a soft little "rrrrrr" like a grumpy cat and a warning puff of smoke and they're like "fuck it i don't get paid nearly enough for this" and no ones using the pool today sorry!

it is very funny that OR keeps name dropping artists she "got inspired by" while writing OR3 but when you actually listen to drop dead and the cure, the only inspiration that shows through is the one artist she didn't name on purpose

#anqels ramblings #eva.txt #it is funny how much she regretted putting 'huge swiftie' in her spotify bio way back then huh #because her body of work is by default tied to a much bigger and more established artist #and then the conversation around her new releases isn't ever centred on her but on taylor swift #and her team is clearly keeping that convo alive because that's the only thing they can think of to market this album #they keep mentioning sabrina and taylor in interviews #she mentioned joshua bassett as well for some reason #and the thing is she's an amazing artist #i don't understand why she's stuck in this cycle of constantly being compared two only those two artists specifically #and you can tell she's trying to genre shift from pop #'cause she keeps mentioning rock bands #and doing shows with them #so i don't understand why her team is letting questions about taylor and sabrina be asked during interviews #taylor isn't being asked about olivia in interviews! sabrina isn't either! so why is she constantly being asked the same exact questions #and giving the same exact non-answers that keep the ambiguity of the situation intact while also keeping the discourse alive #you are making headlines from talking about them more than the actual album. the headline is not or3 the headline is taylor swift #i get all press is good press and all but the album singles are clearly underperforming in comparison to sour and guts #it's troubling to see because i genuinely love olivia but she needs to get rid of her pr team #this isn't a viable long term strategy for her career
