I feel like simply calling JK Rowling a transphobe isn't strong enough anymore. Like. This is not your grandpa calling you by your deadname at a restaurant kind of transphobic. I don't care if you headcannon an aspec character as favorable or grey/demi.

I do, however, care when you EXCLUSIVELY headcannon aspec characters as favorable or grey/demi. (Which is what has been happening in fandom.)

Aspecs are rightfully angry about this because it is blatant aphobia.

No seriously. I am not kidding.

You will claim that it is a spectrum, then heavily favor one side of it. Why is that? Why do you favor the side that allows you to treat an aspec character as an allo?

(Obligatory "aspecs can write whatever they want about aspec characters" and this therefore doesn't apply to you. Yes, you. The one about to comment that you are grey/demi/favorable and ship/make smut of aspec characters to reflect your own experiences. This post isn't about you.)
