Twisted Wonderland Flower Language Masterlist

As of writing this, we don’t know if the flowers will change for each twst boy; but I hope they do. We’ll find out for sure with the next birthday card when it releases (Ace Trappola: 9/23)

But I’m going to assume each card is tailored to them as they’ve been years before, and that will include the flowers (we know the sweets will be according to the summary).

[Per usual my disclaimer stands, flowers have many different meanings depending on region and color, so the meanings I have might differ from the meanings you know.]

I think at first Riddle would be very confused and mildly afraid because his friend was never aggressive towards him! Why is he growling now? Is he sick? Does he hate him now? Did he lose his one friend?

...And then he reads more about dragon hoarding tendencies and suddenly his friend trying to drag him by the shirt into his pile of plastic trash makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately doesn't make him any more able to stay longer than he can, but it does bring him warm fuzzies whenever he thinks about it.

Dorm Checks are exactly what they sound like; on a specified day every week, your housewarden checks your room to ensure overall cleanliness (and to make sure you don't have anything dangerous/illegal in your dorm). Overall cleanliness generally means a made bed, vacuumed floor, emptied trash cans, and sufficient walking space left to maneuver through your dorm.

This means that dorm checks are a team project. If even one person's space is a mess out of the four, everyone fails. This is partially because dorm checks are done when the residents are gone, so it's impossible to tell who's stuff is who's, as well as who's responsible for a mess in the shared parts of the dorm. All the more reason to work as a team and get on your roommates' cases for messes, no? Desks and laundry baskets are not factored into dorm checks usually unless there's something drastic like stuff overflowing onto the floor. Failing a dorm check usually ends up in a fine.

Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade

They... don't fail dorm checks every week..... It's more like, every other week. Come on Prefect, you know these walking disasters like the back of your hand, were you expecting anything more? Adding onto the mess that are your single braincell sharing buddies are two other students that have the great misfortune privilege of being roommates with them. Two (and maybe two more) rowdy first years in one room? Recipe for disaster. Any and all scolding from Housewarden Rosehearts goes in one ear and put the other.

Ace does not see the point in keeping the room clean; it's not like anyone important is going to be there. Visitors aren't typically invited to dorm rooms when tours are held without explicit permission from the dorm room's tenants, and there's no one that he even wants to impress here (No one that he feels will be impressed by a clean room, anyways). Ace's form of "cleaning" is typically stuffing whatever mess he's made in the closet or under his bed.

Deuce, bless his heart, is at least trying. Honor students typically have a clean room, right? They at least don't rack up misdemeanors over trivial things like room checks. He listens to Riddle's lectures and tries his best to remember for next time... but life tends to get hectic and as more urgent and important tasks and information takes precedence in his mind, he tends to forget about maintaining the room.

What doesn't help matters is that they both have their own personal room at Ramshackle, where they spend at least half of their time. It would probably be more if they could get away with it, but they're already on thin ice with Riddle in this respect as it is. What often happens is that they stay at Ramshackle right before dorm checks for one reason or another and totally forget that their room at Heartslabyul is a mess. Their roommates will sometimes handle the communal sections like the floors and the trash when they remember, but they never touch anyone's personal areas like beds or desks. They'd get mad at Ace and Deuce were it not for the fact that they are not the sole reason for the entire room failing dorm checks.

Jack Howl

What dorm checks? Did you really expect Leona to do his housewarden duties here when he neglects duties much more important than room checks? Sometimes, he'll pay off Ruggie to conduct dorm checks (folks have learned to hide away any snacks they have), but usually as long as a room doesn't reek to high heavens with a smell noticeable from the hallways, it will receive a 'pass.' Savanaclaw is one of the most lax dorms in dorm checks because of this.

That being said, Jack is still dutiful when it comes to keeping his side of the room clean. He originally got on his roommates' cases as well, but gave up early in the year after it became clear that he was probably the one who cared most about room checks in his entire dorm. It's not that his roommates are slobs or anything, he just holds himself to a higher standard than necessary. He generally takes care of cleaning the shared parts of the dorm as well as his personal areas.

Epel Felmier

Failed Twice. Never again. Pomefiore room checks are probably the most brutal of the bunch, even beating out Heartslabyul. Heartslabyul expects neatness and cleanliness (along with adhering to all the Queen's rules applicable to the dorms), but that is simple enough since there's a written rulebook so you know exactly what to do. Pomefiore, on the other hand, expects elegance on top of the aforementioned. Whatever that means varies individual to individual. Your room has to be both neat, and 'you,' so to speak (or at least, 'you' in the "your absolute A game" way). It's almost like your room itself needs to be a fashion statement that flatters you in the best way possible.

Epel failed the first time during the first check since he forgot room checks were a thing. He failed the second time during the second check because, "What in tarnation does makin' the room 'elegantly you' even mean!?" If he wasn't a Pomefiore student, he would have passed that second room check. Anyways, after getting a stern lecture from Vil, he got pointers on how to pass his next room check. By pointers, I mean entire class-length, class-quality lectures. Dorm checks have slightly relaxed since Vil's overblot, but it's still quite strict. Someone save this poor boy. Prefect, perhaps you have a spare guest room available...?

Ortho Shroud

Passes. It probably helps that he doesn't need food, can "fly" to reach out of the way areas that need cleaning, and has sensors that detect dust among other things. Not that all of that is necessary, since Idia is pretty lenient on dorm checks. It's not that Idia doesn't bother with dorm checks at all like a certain lazy lion, since dorm checks are done when the residents are out, he's got no real problem with conducting them themselves. It's what comes after multiple dorm check failings which he's not a fan of. After a certain number of dorm check failings, Housewardens are strongly encouraged (Read: it is expected of them) to meet with the offending members to work out future solutions for preventing future failures.

However lenient Idia is on the rest of his dorm mates, he is even more so for Ortho, not that it matters. Ortho is happy to keep his room tidy and he's got such an infectious attitude that his dorm mates are happy to keep their ends of the room presentable as well. Sometimes, Ortho will help his brother when it comes to room checks, and his presence is probably one of the main reasons Ignihyde is in the bottom half of the dorms with the most dorm check failures.

Sebek Zigvolt

Passes each dorm check, naturally. To have one's room be less than presentable for the great Malleus is nothing more than shameful. Despite Diasomnia's military-esque apparel, their room checks are fairly average: definitely less strict than, say, Heartslabyul or Pomefiore... Maybe around Scarabia range. It might help that Diasomnia is the most empty of the seven dorms, meaning that most first year students don't have to worry about having to clean up the living quarters of four people. Sebek himself only lives with two others.

ADHD Reader Part 2

(Part 1)

Characters: Riddle Rosehearts, Leona Kingscholar, Azul Ashengrotto

AN: As you guys probably already know, I have ADHD. I base these off my own struggles, but those struggles won't fit with all people who have ADHD and, similarly, relating to some aspects does not mean you have it either. Talk to a healthcare professional if you think you may have it and want to find ways to accommodate it such as meds and whatnot. ALSO, I, personally, take Adderall so that's what I'll be basing medication side effects on.

Lastly, this fic is not meant to paint ADHD in a negative light or victimize those who have it. There are plenty of good things that come with it, I'm just choosing to delve into the negative stuff as a way of coping with some of my own symptoms <3

I’ve spent some time thinking and developing the Myth AU idea I thought of not that long ago for Twisted Wonderland. I’m proud to say that I now have developed enough information to officially receive asks for it. Most responses to asks will include a little sketch of sorts, bear with my beginner art skills lmao

To reiterate, Twst Myth AU is an alternative universe for Twisted Wonderland in which all of the characters are mythical creatures, commonly known as ‘Myths’ in their universe. Myths are able to shift into a humanoid form upon being “tamed” by their fated Master, in this case you, a magicless human. Each Myth will have different requirements to be tamed, relating directly to the characters themselves. After being tamed, Myths are extremely loyal to their Master and feel a unique love towards them, (platonic or romantic, it’s up to you). Myths are immortal, yet they only have one Master their entire lives. So you must be a very special human, hm?

For asks, you may address the characters directly (e.g: “Riddle, how has your day been?”), in which case the character(s) will reply. Or you may ask a non-direct question (e.g: “What kind of Myth is Riddle?”) , in which yours truly will elaborate for you.

I do plan on introducing the characters by dorms, with considerable time gaps between them. Please only send asks for the available dorms (dorms that do not have introductory posts are unavailable).

LEONA KINGSCHOLAR FUMBLES THE BAG WHEN IT COMES TO ROMANCE

He’s over here playing 5D chess to try and get them to look his way but he’s also got his pride to uphold so he can’t just suck it up and be Normal about it… Like, he attempts to be nice, but because of his immense arrogance and aura, everything that leaves his mouth (unintentionally) sounds like a command or a demand and not a request… which leads to his attempts going over their head and then Leona goes off to sulk about it or to vent to Ruggie. He also REFUSES to ask anyone for advice (especially not his married brother) because he wants to do this on his own (in a “I need to prove myself” way). And he doesn’t want to put on airs either because what’s the point of pretending to be something he’s not; he wants to be loved for who he authentically is. SO LEONA KEEPS ON FUMBLING BECAUSE HE OVERTHINKS THINGS + REFUSES TO COMPROMISE TO WItH HIS PRIDE… Love is a game he’s struggling to win 🧍‍♂️

As this anon said, I don’t actually think this is necessarily canonical (Twst is never going to commit to actual romance) or that this is how he would really act if he was interested in someone and actively pursuing them. While I do think he would harbor some of the same sentiments (like wanting to uphold his pride and not compromising by putting up a fake personality, at least not in the long term; it’s fine if he is fake/sarcastically polite a few times), Leona’s definitely going to be a lot slyer when plotting his moves. I also believe he’s completely aware of his strengths like physical attractiveness and will use those to his advantage.

The Heartslabyul dorm all pitched in to make you tarts! Well, everyone except Riddle. But he made sure to get you a new croquet set from his town!

Leona gave you some clothes that aren't uniforms. Ruggie made you some food, and Jack had brought you a cactus to keep you company!

Kalim and Jamil sent you a care package for each week of winter break! Soft sweaters and snacks, even a little tailored sweater for Grim!

Pomefiore also pitched in, Vil had sent you some makeup perfect for your complexion in the winter season. Rook...wrote you many lamenting poems that use Romeo and Juliet as a metaphor for you being away from him. Epel had given you many apples from his home, he sorted all the best ones, along with apple cider of course!

However, the two gifts that were the most distinct to you, were from the Ignihyde and Diasomnia housewardens.

You'd know Idia wouldn't travel anywhere that wasn't from his bed to his desk, so you were quite surprised when he'd got you a gift too.

"ehehehe...y-yeah my parents sent me a care package it's kinda lame...you can keep it. j-just don't eat the pomegranate!!! treat it like a souvenir!!!" He said. His face was reddened like a common cold as if he'd went outside.

"Here, child of man," Malleus hands you a basket of Fae goods, he'd made sure to keep most of them punishment free. "Do not, however, eat the fruits, they will not rot. You musn't eat them."

You were basically buried in gifts. And while many of them contained food you could eat, the forbidden fruits kept drawing you in.

However, they didn't say you couldn't drink the fruits right? And what you were lacking of, were a few drinks, aside from Epel's cider.

You got to work turning on the blender and placing the pomegranate and the mysterious fruit inside. You clicked the power button and got to blending. The liquid came to a red, almost like blood, certainly from the pomegranates. You poured it in a cup and took a sip.

The taste was amazing! You downed it in a minute!

...well, until you heard thunder.
