Ace, who's never been interested in being seen as someone "reliable". Mainly because "reliable" is just another word for "having to pull someone else's weight", and that's not exactly his jam. So he has no problem acting unreliable. He lies, he cheats, he makes hasty judgments; and he deals with the fallout if he has to, but he never really seeks to change anything about himself as a result.
At least, not until he finds someone he wants to be able to rely on him. Someone who's crept into his life and become a permanent fixture before he knew it. And suddenly he's cleaning up his act without even realizing it. Because it can't be helped, you know? It's not even a burden to him, just a forgone conclusion. "Well, this is just how it is now."
Ace, who's reluctant to change or strive for improvement on his own, but accepts it so naturally when it's for someone else's sake, despite being one of the most self-centered people he knows.
