i got annoyed at not having a clear image of Yuu whenever they showed up, so i made a uhh yuusona?
just a regular guy who was isekai-ed into twst and has very little interest in returting to his world. prefers to find a job here, actually.
JADE -> YUU : actually really enjoys yuu's company, and is grateful that they jojned the club. does not mean that he doesn't terrorize yuu at every opportunity however, but still, they have a good rapport and he enjoys his company. also 100% knows about the crush and weaponizes it to hell and back lol does he like yuu back? no. but also yes. but mostly no. but maybe yes.
YUU -> JADE : has a lil crush, but tries to keep it lowkey because its embarrasing. admires jade for how good he is at everything, and is happy to learn from him whenever he can. a little scared of him but in a good way.
IDIA <--> YUU : they hate each other because they are too similar and they do not like what the mirror shows them. enemies 4 lyfe
VIL -> YUU : constantly frustrated over their lack of care for themselves and often steps in just because its too much of a waste not to. useful puppet for trying out stuff too
YUU -> VIL : very scared of him, but also trusts him the most with his appearance in general. would not mind going out to buy clothes with him but is too scared to ask
JACK -> YUU : thinks they are a lil bit pathetic but sees potential. wants to bring it out and is very intense when yuu asks for their help. overall tries to give tough love but leans too hard on the love (platonic)
YUU -> JACK : precious beautiful amazing wonderful strong powerful he is everything he is the moment he would kill every mage with a piece of glass if jack asked him to because he is weak for people who are very sincere and earnest about everything they do

in this universe, ruggie is the housewarden of heartslabyul, and after a very, very stressful childhood, he decided that he was going to have FUN and every rule would bend to this purpose. overall, his entire objective is to minimize conflict and maximize a good fucking time, and he does it fabulously.
since his dormmates are malleus and epel, i will talk about how i am picturing their relationships right now
with malleus: malleus is his favorite enabler, and he has a soft spot for him. malleus was the one to help him get used to the dorm when he was in his first year, and now that he is a housewarden, malleus doesnt want responsability still, but he is the type of guy that convinces everyone the solution IS in fact a party. whenever ruggie needs someone to take his mind off things, malleus is his guy, and malleus does adore ruggie because his housewarden gives his plenty of opportunities to keep making memories. yes, they are in fact those two friends who are just doing Some Bullshit in the B Plot always.
with epel: epel is surprisingly the straight man of this entire thing. while he DOES enjoy the parties, and he DOES enjoy all the freedom, he fears for ruggie and malleus' life and tries his best to at least make them not do anything too stupid. ruggie thinks this is very sweet and "rewards" epel with being his vice, which means that poor epel is also strapped with more responsabilities + helping ruggie remember all the rules. despite it all, he does quite like his senpais. its very sweet.
oh yeah and this ruggie is genderfluid and epel can always tell. always.

if your Yuu had a team of pokemon which pokemon would he have?
If we go by equivalents, Yuu would be from Unova, so most of his trainer career would happen there. His little babies are:
GALVANTULA "Galvin" -> His starter, had him since he was 10. Found as a Joltik on his father's belongings, and since he never saw his father using him nor he could ask him at that point, he just took Galvin for himself. They cuddle a lot, and Yuu loves to pet his fur. Considers Galvin his cutest Pokemon.
ZEBSTRIKA "Ponie" -> His second Pokemon. Ponie is a mean asshole and Yuu loves him for it. Thinks he deserves the world. The only reason that Ponie even goes along with Yuu is because Yuu has been feeding him since he was 7. Eventually, when Yuu finally decided to leave his city at age 15, Ponie just followed along until Yuu decided to throw a pokeball. Now Ponie can kick Yuu whenever he wants <3
MUNNA "Monique" -> His third Pokemon. Inherited from Igor after he passed away. Not used in combat, and serves more as a companion than anything. Most pampered one in the team by a long shot.
COFAGRIGUS "Countess" -> His fourth and final Pokemon. Found while exploring Relic Castle. She thought Yuu's actions were deeply amusing, and decided to stick around to see where this disaster would lead.
THE ONES WHO GOT AWAY -> Yuu always wanted to raise both an Audino and a Braviary, but he just didn't have the resources to raise them alongside four other Pokemon. Maybe when he gets a little better!
