just a regular guy who was isekai-ed into twst and has very little interest in returting to his world. prefers to find a job here, actually.
JADE -> YUU : actually really enjoys yuu's company, and is grateful that they jojned the club. does not mean that he doesn't terrorize yuu at every opportunity however, but still, they have a good rapport and he enjoys his company. also 100% knows about the crush and weaponizes it to hell and back lol does he like yuu back? no. but also yes. but mostly no. but maybe yes.

so! in my head, kalim is the third oldest child of his family, and after the assassination of his oldest sibling (which he was very close to), kalim swore that something like that wouldnt happen ever again, leading to him becoming both very, very good at reading AND dealing with people and very, very good at physical confrontation when necessary.
this trey also was much more of a punk when younger, and through the use of frankly cartoonish levels of violence, managed to snag the role of housewarden for himself fairly late during his first year, which meant that when kalim entered the school, trey was already trying to find out ways to keep his position, which meant that he was searching for anyone that could bring him trouble, and kalim was one of those people. kalim himself just wanted to network and learn as much as he could, but trey insisted on picking fights with him.
which of course led to trey being defeated over and over again until kalim, with all his wisdom, decided that "you are very, very stupid on purpose, and i will become your housewarder so that you learn not to waste your talents on such petty, useless fights."
trey didnt quite fell in love, but it was something close to that. now they are bestiesss
trey has the charisma that reminds kalim a lot of his sibling and that makes kalim want to see trey shine, even if the person he actually wanted to protect could never reap the benefits of his effort. and trey wants to learn more and more from kalim, which means that he is willing to go along with everything kalim says because he trusts his vice with his life. overall, it's... healthy, but a lot of potential for things to go wrong.
if any overblot happens in this universe, i do think kalim would be the one to do it in savanahclaw, but it would require a lot of shit going wrong at once.
