"georg eats over 10,000 spiders each day" factoid not as rigorous as people think. scientists like this one tried to calculate how many spiders he would really need to eat to skew average up to 3. turns out it actualy almost 60 milion.
however, this assumes we are measuring entire population of earth. i did the math mysef & turns out the 10,000 figure wuold still be true if we only measured around 1,2 milion people in our sample size.
so my brain started wondering if the numbers could be played with even further, & decided to make tool for it:
