The Pitt is so interesting in the way it handles misogyny in-universe and the fandom is very good at recognizing that but I feel like the misogyny within the fandom flies under the radar. Santos and Langdon are practically mirrors and i see way more posts praising him and bashing her than I do in the other direction. Everybody hates women I guess?

why did that finale have so many nasty, mean spirited moments that were just unforced errors of the writing. javadi who’s going into PSYCH saying that about mel, robby screaming at baran, samira apologizing to robby, the lawyer calling ellis as PITBULL, digby being “crazy” etc etc etc a whimper instead of a bang. some of the most miserable television writing i’ve seen in awhile i actually didn’t think they could sink this low

robby’s whole “women raise your hand if you’d rather die with modesty or live” speech made me fucking cackle because when has this man shown that he cares about women like once. that plus dr al hashimi saying she trusts/respects him (AND HE FUCKING RECIPROCATES) is so laughable. of fucking course noah wyle wrote this to stroke his own ego. and all the white wine moms in love with the show because of ER are eating it up. give me a break
