So if NW himself likes to do his own little comedy routine around the fact that he’s got a big say in who the show fires, then who are we, the humble viewers, to deny him his due? I hope his stans will stop trying to rob poor NW of the credit he’s owed!

And these sorts of “jokes” aren’t just jokes because they do actually end up firing someone. But just WOC so far, presumably because NW thinks they’re such rock stars, I guess! Definitely not any other reason, for sure none of us should think about it too hard.

But seriously, why does NW talk to his employees like this - “You can’t leave because you’ll never find anything better, but I can ditch you at any time, isn’t that funny?! Hey, come over here, I feel like yelling at the nearest woman for no reason, HAHA wait come on it’s just a joke!” And I’m supposed to think this production is not a nightmare labor wise.

honestly I'm flabbergasted. more and more stuff keeps coming out about him saying things that are at best tone-deaf and at worst callous and cruel!! every week is a fresh new hell!!!!

I'm getting pretty heated about this because I'm dealing with a similar issue in my real life, but nothing pisses me off quite like people who are in charge making jokes about things over which they have power. it's one thing for Patrick Ball to joke about who's leaving the show next; it's entirely another for Noah Wyle to do it. he made these jokes in the proximity of junior cast members!!! it wasn't just a lil joke he made to, say, Scott Gemmill (my eyes go black). he said it in front of the woman the show abruptly fired just weeks later!!!
