to be honest the only reason i haven't played the weird route is because of my decision to wait until the game's finished to start another save. which in hindsight probably wasn't my best decision but whatever i'm sticking with it

i do like transfem ralsei and i do believe chapter 5 adds a lot of credence to it but also at the same time i can't ignore that all of ralsei's explicit comments on gender presentation are framed as something he's doing for someone else. paraphrasing slightly but he says "it's fun to try new things as long as it's what other people want". now this could be ralsei's people pleasing tendencies talking over his actual wants as he is wont to do, or it could be more of ralsei trying his hardest to be the most appealing character possible for kris/the player, up to and including gender transition if he thinks it'll make people like him more. i don't fucking know
