I feel like I'm trying to get rid of leftover Thanksgiving turkey. I cooked way too much on NYE so I'm having to get creative. And yet, I still have more. 🤦‍♂️ 1. Grilled pork over sauteed spring onions (the lower part) with a soy sauce glaze. Topped with just a little sriracha sauce. On the side are some of the leftover marinated vegetables, but I reheated them with minced ginger. 2. Spicy ramen with a sriracha and green onion base. I cooked a feast tonight. Happy New Year!!! 🥳🥳🥳 Cipollatta: Spring onion wrapped in bacon. I never knew what I was missing out on until I got here. Spinach salad with strawberries, tomatoes, and almonds with oil and vinegar. Red onions, green pepper, red pepper, cherry tomatoes, and Brussels sprouts marinated 2 different styles and roasted. A typical Sicilian breakfast (from what I've been told): cold creamy pistachio granita, a freshly baked flaky brioche, and a perfectly made velvety smooth cappuccino.
